WARNING: Bad humor to follow. Sesame Street is brainwashing our kids! They are trying to dispell the fact that school is bad for kids by starting early on the pre-schoolers that starting school is easy, fun and safe. This last week, they were interviewing children as they prepare for their first day at preschool/grade school. End of bad humor; but Sesame Street is doing a wonderful job. It is working on my nephew in Ottawa. He will be starting pre-pre school this fall. He can hardly wait. calvin

There is an excellent Sesame Street video about starting school. I
rented it for my son prior to his starting daycare (he was just over 2
but had been with a nanny prior to that). I hoped it would lessen
any fears he may have had moving into any new environment. He loved the
video as it is all done with songs and the characters he knows.
