My children all 3 go to Drs.Weiss,Evans,Chaffee, all women. We have
been going there for 10 yrs. My last baby was just born in Nov. I think
they are great, all very pleasant including the nurses. My kids love
going there. They have just added a male Dr.to the staff. I believe if
you just call the pediatricians and ask them if they are accepting new
patients and if your health plan is covered by them. I have CMHC.
They are located on Lincoln St. in Worcester, give them a call.
Also two of my sisters bring their children there, no complaints yet.
    Good Luck

1246.2family practitioner vs pediatricianTOLKIN::KARPOWICZMon Feb 03 1997 18:3611
Are there any major drawbacks to having a family care practitioner vs a
pediatrician? I'm not that familiar with the differences in
terminology except for that I was told the family practioner would be
the family doctor....so they could see me (I'm also looking for a
primary care doctor) and the baby.....instead of having two different
doctors....I'm a Fallon member, so I'm obviously limited.....

    Any inputs would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Michele

if they are available to you .. Dr. Primack and Andrea Thoman CPNP at
    Fallon in auburn.

We'd still be with them if we hadn't moved out of the Fallon service
area. (actually, for a year we stayed even though they were over an
    hour away..)

Fallon may have changed how they do things, when we were with them we
each had our own Primary Care Physician; our daughter's PCP was Dr.
    Primack, a pedi..
