There was an article in the Worcester Telegram this morning about a
Grafton woman who was in a head on collision. The impact of the crash
made the airbag go off and she was flung in the back seat. She was also
pregnant. The baby was delivered by caesarean section and is doing
well. The woman is in a coma. The accident happend about a week ago
and is still being investigated. I'll post the article later if in
it's on the web.

Sounds like she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

Actually it sounds as if the seatback gave way (a not uncommon occurance), the pressure of the airbag and the woman's recoil probably broke the seat back. Stuart | |||||
