1145.1 | Elder Care Kit will put your mind at ease, too. | NETCAD::CREEGAN | Tue Jun 11 1996 10:13 | 16 | |
Earlier this year I called Work/Family Directions a Digital offering. I was looking for information on latch-key kids. I got the info I wanted and I noticed that they had an Elder Care Kit. In the kit they have things like, a flashlight, a glow-in-the-dark switch-plate cover, extension cord shorteners, weekly pill container, emergency number card for the refridge, etc. It was a very well- thought out kit. Your parents don't have to be living with you to qualify a request for the kit. I mailed the kit I got to my parents in Florida, I was hoping they would fill out the emergency card and put it on their refridge. My parents aren't frail or anything like that, they did say they used everything in the kit. All you need to give them is your badge number and they are more than happy to mail it out to you. The number is 1-800-456-0018. |
