| I have 2 friends of childbearing age that have lupus. They both
had it before conception. Both had healthy baby girls. One thing
I do know is that lupus can be hard to diagnose so she really needs
to make sure that is what she has.

1136.3 | Good News...it's not lupus | ALFA1::LIPSON | | Wed May 08 1996 09:52 | 5 |
| Just an update -- with good news! I just found out that the test for
lupus was negative. Of course, they still don't know exactly what is
causing these symptoms but they can rule out lupus.
Thanks again for your support.

| An auto-immune disease that attacks connective tissue. It can manifest
itself as artheritis, kidney failure, a strange looking rash (thus the
name as it can make a "wolf mask" on the face" and other problems.
Some people have little to no problem with lupus, others have major
problems, depending on the severity of the disease.
