I'm looking for a book oF children's "interactive plays." By interactive, I mean where the audience participates. We recently went to EPCOT at Disney World and we saw some "street performers" do a show. It was narrated by a cast of characters and when they said a word (like The King) the audience would shout "Hail to the King" and so on. My daughter and her cousins tried to re-create this over the weekend and were frustrated. I think they'd have more success with guidance (everyone here is under the age of 7). I assume a grown-up would narrate and "control" the theatrics at family gatherings! Any advice or pointers? Tara

Tara, We do these all the time in Cub Scouts. Check out the NOTED::SCOUTING notesfile. I know that there are some in there. Do a Notes> Dir/title=skit - that should help. Also, if you have a scouting shop around (call the local Boy Scout office) there is a whole book of these skits for less than 5.00. Pam | |||||

Thanks! I'll check out the scouting shop; the scouting notes file seems geared towards older boys and camping themes (as it should!) I'm thinking more along the lines of re-telling Little Red Riding Hood or something like that. Tara |
