1062.0. "looking for Kids-at-Heart/Create-a-Book" by TARKIN::VAILLANCOURT () Thu Dec 07 1995 11:07

    Does anyone have current information on someone who sells the
    Kids-at-Heart Create-a-Books? (personalized books for your
    child, using their name, their friends, etc).
    I had 2 contacts from who I previously ordered, and they are
    both no longer selling the books (Sharon Whittier in Townsend and
    Carboney in Groton). One referred the other, and the other didn't
    know of anyone.

    I don't know if it was called Kids-at-Heart, but we had personalized
    books made at a shop in Rockport.

1062.2Just Saw One Today!!CHIPS::DRURYThu Dec 07 1995 12:1718
    I was just at the Craft Fair in Hudson, HLO, and there was a person
    there who was doing personalized books and letters to Santa. I grabbed
    one of the brochures and they do personalized books from stories like
    The Lion King, Aladdin, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Power Rangers,
    Barbie, Biblical stories, Snow White, Pocahontas, Christmas related,
    etc. If you would like, I can make a copy of the brochure and send
    it to you.

    The name of the place is:

    	Quality Time Children's Books
    	10 Technology Drive, suite 401
    	Hudson, MA  01749
    	(508) 842-9627

    Just send me your mailstop if you would like a copy of the brochure.

    Thanks for the pointers - note that the books in .2 sell for
    9.95, and the books in .3 (which sound like the same titles)
    sell for 16.00
1062.5letter from Santa..BIGQ::MARCHANDMon Dec 11 1995 16:3611

      .2 The letters from Santa looked really neat! I ordered a letter
    to my 5 year old grandson from Santa. Only $2.10. The letter is
    quite colorful and he asks for the names of at least 3 people the
    child is close to. The letter is sent to the child. It was perfect
    timing. Just the day before the Hudson fair my grandson was telling
    me he was worried that Santa wouldn't know where he moved to. He
    had just moved this month and it was a big concern. When he gets the
    letter I know it'll make him really happy!
