| I think you should be able to find the white ranger at
Toys r us, Kaybee or Walmart. This is where I've seen them.
Yellow ranger should be pretty easy to find. She's not very
popular with the boys (yet) 8*)
Also, I don't think the characters have changed. Red is still
Jason etc....
Do you think this is just a marketing ploy to get us to but
another Red, Yellow and Black ranger? I'm not going for it.
When they morphed, you can't tell the difference!

Some characters have changed...
Jason (Red), Zack (Black) and Trini (Yellow) have left
the show. (The characters are attending a teen world
peace conference). I can't remember the names of the teens
that are now the Red, Black and Yellow Rangers.

Yeah, sorry. I mean they have not changed on the boxes.
They still sell only the old rangers.

| Can someone please list the colors of the power rangers? I'm making
chocolates for an easter craft fair and have a power ranger mold. But
I need to paint them with the black masks and white diamonds and pour
them the appropriate colors. What are the colors?
Also, on the white power ranger, does it have black diamonds on it's
costume?
Thanks.

The "old" rangers are as follows;
Green - Tommy
Red - Jason
Blue - Billy
Pink - Kimberly
Yellow - Trini
Black - Zach
This fall they "changed" the green ranger to White, but he's still
Tommy. Both colors still appear to be very popular, in general White
and then Green. In popularity, I think the rest go about like this;
Red, blue, black, pink, yellow (though I like Trini better than
Kimberly... (-;). The green/white ranger has always been the most
powerful, which probably accounts for their popularity. The red ranger
is, in general, the leader.
The green ranger lost his 'powers', but somehow turned white w/ new
powers (I missed that episode). I still tease Jason about it .... I
think his batteries died, that's all (-;
Have a blast!

| Dear All,
The new power rangers
Red ranger - Rocky - white guy
Black Ranger - Adam - chinese guy
Yellow Ranger - Aeshia - black girl
I am in UK - and therefore don't have the latest stuff available in TOYS R US, which
is a real pain in the ***** as after all the company should have the same toys in
both countries.
The WHITE ranger is now the LEADER not the red and this I believe might be one
reason for JASON leaving the show. (purely guess work you understand), anyway
we were ready for a change of scene.
I unfortuantely am not a Trini fan as she appears to be too sickly sweet and over
the top for me, I prefer the new yellow ranger AESHIA the black lady to her.
Basically the WHITE ranger has it for me - tasty or what??
Anyone coming over to the UK - Reading (Dec Park) over the next few months that
might have access to the white ranger please contact me.

| My theory is that the old rangers weren't offered enough money
for the new Power Rangers movie that came out.
I like Tommy (I think it's the hair 8*)
I don't like Kimberly
Actually, I like the show. It IS mindless but Nathan and I
watch it together and laugh at how stupid Bulk and Skull are!

| Ok .. so there's no more green power ranger (good thing I haven't made
any green chocolate power rangers yet!). What does the white power
ranger's costume look like? Most other ones are the color with white
"diamonds" on their chest. What color diamonds does the white one
have?

either black or gold

| The white ranger is considerably different than the others. Large
white football-style shoulder pads with gold and black details. Very
fancy! I had to make one on a cake for my 6-year old nephew, so I
searched all the toy stores for trading cards. I finally found one
with a solo photo of the white ranger so I could copy his costume. Not
an easy task for a cake...

The chocolate mold I have is just from the chest up. I'm wondering
what color the diamonds are. Gold or black?

| I just checked with my 4-year-old. He said the white ranger has a
yellow diamond on his shirt (that probably means gold - I don't think he
knows what color gold is, exactly!). Now mind you, we don't have a TV,
and power rangers are forbidden at preschool, so I don't really understand
how he knows these things, but he is pretty reliable...

914.14 | How they know about Power Rangers | SUBURB::65175::phillipss | | Mon Mar 06 1995 04:25 | 9 |

I believe that other kids are watching it and telling the ones at preschool what
it is all about.
Certainly in the UK even though some are not watching they are well aware of
who and what the Power Rangers are.

| Sorry ..... I meant to add that to my other reply.
The white ranger is white with gold. There is some black. It is a
pretty complicated get up (esp for chocolates!). If I were doing it,
I'd do something like make a white chest, and then a gold triangle in
front (w/ the point towards the belly button), and you'll come pretty
close. If you need more detail, I can check out Jason's stuffed white
ranger and get exactly where the gold/black are. I THINK there's black
at the top of his arms, a black belt, and black leg/arm bands, but the
chest "shield" is gold, and there's a lot of gold on his mask, and the
leg/arm bands may be striped with gold as well. Gawd, how can I look
at this stuff so often and not know?! (-:
I wouldn't eliminate making green rangers though .... the kids still
LOVE him, esp since they can't readily get their hands on the white
ranger stuff. The green ranger is green, and then has a shield over
his chest that comes to a point ~3-4" (on a human) above his belly
button. It extends out past the natural shoulders. If you don't have
a mold specifically for either of these guys, it'd be tough to make one
of the "regular" rangers look like this.
Funny comment about Trini .... I don't like Kimberly because she's too
goody-two-shoes, and still seems to have that hint of
All-American-Sarcastic teen. Maybe I'm reading into things (-:

914.16 | Micro Machines cheap & complete | SWAM2::GOLDMAN_MA | Walking Incubator, Use Caution | Mon Mar 06 1995 18:51 | 24 |
| For *older* children (who don't eat the toys any more) Micro Machines
has a really nice collection of Rangers in one box, including a couple
of the "bad guys" and the White Ranger. Mind you, these are teeny
weeny things, which get under parents' feet and make them groan loudly.
I suggest giving them as a gift to the child of the person who gave
your kid that (insert your most hated toy here - i.e., drum,
screaming electronic machine gun, toy with 8000 pieces under 1" each,
etc.) :)
And the White Range looks very much like the Green Ranger, but the gold
shoulder shield seems a little smaller, and he doesn't as much black
trim as before or as any of the others do. (I am one of those
over-dedicated mom's who *sewed* a green ranger for Halloween - what a
hassle!!)
In all seriousness, hubby and I spotted the Micro Machinns set at
Toys R Us for Xmas and got it for Joe, who is crazy about both Power
Rangers/VR Troopers and about Micro Machines. This was his 2nd
favorite gift, the top of the line being the 1800 piece ($100+) collection
of K'nex my brother gave him.
I really wish my brother would have some kids -:)!

I guess I was wrong .... The white (stuffed) ranger that Jason has
looks like this;
All white. Black, full "vest" - you might call it a short, sleeveless
jacket. It comes right up to his neck, and covers his whole chest/back
and upper stomach. This is black w/ gold trim, AND over the shoulders
has gold material that extends beyond the shoulders (sort of looks like
wings). His dino-zord emblem is on his chest. All the rest of the trim
is gold - gold arm bands, gold leg bands.
Gawd, sewing the green ranger was bad enough - I hope he doesn't want
to be the white ranger this year!! (w/ Jason it'd be more like the
'gray' ranger anyway....)
