673.0. "Free money for colleges" by NODEX::POLIKOFF (Arnie Polikoff MRO1-3/K16 Office 32503 297-2313) Wed Jan 12 1994 09:57

    	I am looking for college financial aid for my son who is a junior
    now. I did not find anything in this notes file after looking under the
    keywords, education, school and college. In the IBMPC_SHAREWARE notes
    file, someone asked the same question so I answered it.

    	Reprinted without permission from the Boston Globe Sunday Jan 9,
    1994.

    	The program is called "College Cost Explorer FUND FINDER. It is a
    computer software program developed by The College Board on financial
    aid availability at colleges, and on national, state and private
    scholarships. Available free at Higher Education Information Center and
    other locations. Check with guidance counselor at your high school.

    	Now I have a question. How do I contact the Higher Education
    Information Center? Also, does anyone know of any other programs?
