644.0. "Quality of "Todays Kids" toys??" by WEEKS::PELLIS () Sun Dec 05 1993 19:48

Does anyone have a comment on the quality of toys made by
"Today's Kids"? Are they a new brand, or have they been around
long enough for people to comment on their long-term durability?

They seem similar to Little Tykes (a goal I'm sure they set, with
the reputation of Little Tykes!) at a lower price. I'd just hate
to fool myself by saving a little money now, only to have to replace
the toys later.

Thanks

    We have been very pleased with Today's Kids toys. You mention that
    they are less expensive than others; I thought that they were more
    expensive!

    But, we have bought all of ours at BJ's Wholesale Club, and gotten
    wonderful deals. We have four of their toys, the latest purchase being
    a riding horse for our son's second birthday (which he discovered one
    week early last night in the basement, under a huge blanket!).

    I would highly recommend their products.

644.2Second for Today's Kids ToysSUPER::HARRISThu Dec 23 1993 11:038
    	I second the support for Today's Kids toys. We have the
    	swing, infant play gym, desk, and activity rocker. I've
    	been really happy with the quality of all of them. In
    	addition... When we got the infant play gym, one of the
    	metal bars on the "xylophone" hit another, and didn't
    	ring right. I mentioned this in my "comments/warranty"
    	card, and a new one came in the mail within about two weeks
    	of having mailed out the card!
644.3I recommend the Kid's DeskCSOA1::NEWMANThu Dec 30 1993 16:348
    We purchased the desk for our 18 month son last year, and it has really
    held up well. I have been looking at their other items, but have not
    purchased anything else as of yet. I highly recommend the desk, as it
    comes with a wipe-off top for markers (crayons are easily cleaned off
    also) and it has the alphabet letters and numbers that stick to the
    inside of the desk (like bristle blocks do).

We had some questions about putting together a toy - called the 800 number and
had our questions answered immediately.
