454.1 | Beauty and the Beast on Ice | DELNI::ALLAN | | Mon Feb 15 1993 14:53 | 7 |
| I took my 9 1/2 year old granddaughters yesterday. We went to the
3:30 show and it ran 1hour 55minutes. It was very well done and
followed the story line pretty much.

454.2 | DISNEY ON ICE | PENUTS::DODINN::BOLAND | | Tue Feb 16 1993 13:10 | 11 |
| My huband and I took our 3 year old daughter to yesterdays 4:30 performance.
It lasted about an 1 hour and 50 minutes. There was a 15 minute intermission.
It was just wonderful. I liked it 100% better than last years performance
which was the Jungle Book Theme. I don't know if it's because I love the
Beauty and the Beast Video so much, but to me, it was for all ages. Where last
year's performance was more geared to the young children only. Just my opinion.
It was well worth the money and to me the VIP seats were no better than the
16.50 seats. In fact unless you were the first row on VIP you would be able to
see better with the other seats.

454.3 | Is it loud? | MLTVAX::HUSTON | Chris and Kevin's Proud Mom!!! | Tue Feb 16 1993 13:23 | 9 |
| Did you find that the show was loud? My husband took our 2 year old to
Sesame Street Live, and he cried through most of it because it was
loud. He loves Beauty and the Beast, and I really want to take him
to it, but don't want him to cry through the whole thing.
Just curious,
-Sheila

| I also took my daughter to Sesame Street Live a few years ago. No, The Ice
Show is not as loud as Sesame Live was. I think he will really enjoy it. And
so will Mommy and Daddy.

454.5 | different in Centrum from Boston ?? | CPDW::LALIBERTE | CIS Systems Engineering | Sun Apr 04 1993 20:42 | 13 |
| we saw Disney On Ice at the Centrum (Worcester, MA)
this past week (April 1) ...the theme was not Beauty in the Beast
(which I heard was very good in Boston) but
a story line about Huey, Dewey and Louie in a time machine, etc.
maybe my expectations were too high but i was not impressed...we could
not hear the story line, too garbled...we had 2nd row seats on the
side and most of the story was directed to the audience to our right...
i would think the Disney expertise would have handled the 'audience in
the round' aspect better.
this was a Kenneth Feld production...was this the same group that did
Boston Garden or some kind of understudy group?

| They must have different casts traveling around the country, because I
saw the Huey, Dewy, and Louie shwo in February "92 in Atlanta, Ga.
