429.0. "F International UK Agency Info ?" by LARVAE::DRSD20::GALVIN (Bring on the snow) Fri Jan 22 1993 10:50

    Hi,

Has anybody heard of the UK agency "F International" ? Does anybody
have information about them ( reputation / stories / address /
    telephone / VAX work ? / PC work ? ) ?

I think they're supposed to be some sort of agency who specialise is
    providing short_term/part_time jobs/contracts for ( mainly ) women who
have young babies and want to work ( mainly from home ).

This has been cross-posted in European Contractors notesfile but don't
let that put you off replying :-)

    Cheers

    Steven Galvin

P.S. To avoid sparking off any sort of disapproving conversations then

P.S.S. Mr/Mrs/Ms Moderator I've had a quick look through this
notesfile to try to find a good place to place this note, but
to no avail. If there is a more suitable place then please "go
            for it" !

They're based in Bracknell and specialise in providing contractors who
are women. By that, the founder recognised that a lot of woman with
computer skills left the workforce when they had kids, and found it
hard to rejoin the workforce. So F International was founded to provide
these folks with part-time flexible schedule work. A lot of their
contractors work from home and attend project meetings every few weeks
    with the employer.

I've never worked for them, just read about them in the UK computer
press. They enjoyed an excellent reputation.
