113.1 | Sears has them | ASABET::MACGILLIVARY | | Fri May 15 1992 16:01 | 6 |
| It just so happens that my mother in law bought one last night. She
found it at Sears at the Pheasant Lane Mall. ( She looked many places
before finding one). I imagine all Sears would carry them. It was in
the baby department hanging on the wall with the bottle supplies, etc.
You might have to ask the salesperson as it was not easy to find.

113.2 | Right Start Catalog | ASABET::CARTER | | Fri May 15 1992 16:14 | 10 |
| I saw one in a catalog - The Right Start - I got the order book by
dialing 1-800-little-1. Which I got from the last version of this
conference. I got the catalog just a few days after calling and it
had a $4.00 coupon off my first purchase. I haven't bought anything
from it because we are still debating what things we want so I don't
know how their service/quality is.
It was the harness for the waist and looked comfortable.
Good luck - Tracy

113.3 | It was the harness type | ASABET::MACGILLIVARY | | Fri May 15 1992 16:29 | 7 |
| I forgot to mention in .1 that it was the torso harness that my mother
in law found at Sears. My daughter is 9 months old and is starting to
stand while being walked in the carriage. The harness can be arranged
so it attaches to the carriage on both sides so if she trys to stand
she cannot fall out of the carriage. We also intend to use it when
she is walking.

113.4 | another use for harness | TNPUBS::STEINHART | Laura | Fri May 15 1992 17:17 | 4 |
| My sister-in-law always used a harness to attach her son to the
stroller. She lives in New York City and was afraid of kidnapping.
It's enough to slow someone down if she turns her back for a moment
while shopping.

113.5 | Lots of places ... (my kid hated the wrist version, but didn't mind the "chest" version | CALS::JENSEN | | Mon May 18 1992 16:54 | 9 |

Calvert's (Shrewsbury) had real nice ones.
I also found the "zip front" (which is best when used as a "zip back") in
Caldor's and Bradlee's (so the other department stores should carry them, too)
... and ChildWorld.
