    Yes, many times.

It's wonderful and includes a set of swings which my kids love and
a wooden train the length of the building for kids to plan on.

The ball pit (like Discovery Zone) is also popular.

It is mostly for babies and toddlers. My 5 year old gets pretty bored.

There was a list of places like this in the calendar section of yesterday's
Boston Globe. If I remember correctly, they're typically $5 or $6.

FWIW, my wife says there's a nice play area for kids in the Atrium Mall
on route 9 in Newton. It's free. I don't know how it compares with the
ones mentioned here and in the Globe.

Pepetual Motion is on route 133 in Andover, MA. Take 495 to the route
28 exit (exit 41). Go south on 28 (towards Andover). Left turn on
133 (there will be a car dealer and a bank and a light at this
intersection). PM is a short distance on the left. It's in an old
brick building (in the back) and is not really noticeable from the
    street.

While I agree it's more for younger kids my kids (5 and 6) still enjoy
it. It's a popular birthday party spot.

I went there this past Sat. Micaylah is 14 mos. and she had a great
time. It is 5.50 unless you have 4 children(must be siblings) then it
is 4.50 and if you go for the last business hour of the day it is also
4.50. There is plenty of room to run around. There is a huge sandbox in
the middle, a swing set, a dress up section, blocks, wooden doll
houses, and a big wooden train; the first car is the engine with two
stearing wheels, the second car is full of those colored balls, the
third car has a slide that goes into the second car into all those
balls plus a place to crawl under and stuff, the fourth car is set up
like a kitchen with a fridge, a stove and cabinets, some food etc.
then there is a jugle gym like thing in the middle of the floor with
tires to clime up on and a big slide to go down. Oh yeah, and the train
has a corkscrew slide off the third car. There is a set of mats with a
bunch of shaped made out of those mats to play with too. A small like
carisol(sp?) that moves when peddled, another bouncing thing that they
sit on and bounce. another small plastic train with stairs and a slide.
a big round cusiony place for infants to sit in...like a playpen
almost...snacks are availableand they are reasonably priced...

all in all....a great place to go, not every week or anything but it is
worth it..what a great way to make use of an old warehouse......Mary

I thought I'de add this note in the event any parents were looking
for fun activities this weekend. I can delete this once the event
    has passed.

The Brookline, NH Village Fair is this Saturday, August 3. Part
of the days festivities include a childrens parade. The parade
begins at the Elementary School and continues to the Town Hall.
Children typically dress in costume, decorate bikes, pull wagons
with teddy bears, etc. It is really a fun time, and something
my two girls look forward to. Each participant recevies a nice
black and white certificate for participating ( I couldn't afford
to pay Kinkos for 75 color certificates this year! ). The best
    part? It is free.

The parade begins at 9:30 and takes most kids about 15 minutes to
walk the distance. Parents are welcome to walk along with the
kids, but you don't get a certificate... The Brookline Ambulance
and Police Cruiser will take up the front and rear of the parade.

Immediately following the parade the fair opens with Pony Rides,
for $1, games, fair booths, face painting, and story telling (although
we're still trying to locate a story teller). An Auction begins
at 11:00. At 4pm the Memorial walkway dedication begins and a
Chicken BBQ/Band Concert with the Hollis Town Band begins at 5pm.
This all takes place at the Church of Christ, and surrounding area,
in bustling downtown Brookline, NH. There is also a 5K roadrace
at 8:30am, prior to the childrens parade. If anyone would like
some additional information, I can be reached at work, or at
    home- 603 673-0849.

This weekend, June 7&8, there will be a cat show at the Wallace Civic
Center in Fitchburg, MA. There will be ~150-200 cats shown, and almost
every breed you can think of will be represented. The show runs from
9:00-5:00 both days, although I'd suggest arriving by 3:00 in order to
    see most of the cats.

The cost is $4.00 per adult and $2.00 for children. Children under 3
    are free.

I have some coupons for 50 cents off of admission. If you would like
to go, I can send you a .ppt file with a flyer and a sheet of coupons.
But please contact me by the end of the day tomorrow, as I will not be
    here after that.

You can contact me for further information if you'd like. I'm on

It does sound like fun for the kids though.
