    I'm interested in recommendations/comments on Kids Inn in Merrimack,
    NH.  My 2 year old son is currently in a home environment, but is
    craving for something more challenging.  They have nursery school,
    preschool and kindergarten there as well, so my hopes would be for him
    to stay there until he starts 1st grade.
    
    Since my goal is for him to "start school" in September, I thought I
    would start my search now.  I have called them and plan to visit during
    my vacation in July (so that Andrew can see it too).

    Markie is not adjusting well to daycare.   He cries and fusses
    most of the morning.   We love our current provider but she feels that
    the excitement of the other children (3 boys and my daughter) are too
    much for Markie.   She finds he's happy when the other kids are
    sleeping but unhappy and wants to be held the rest of the time.  
    
    I'm hoping that he will be happier in his own environment and with less
    activity around.   (I have a LARGE extended family so Katherine gets 
    lots of play time with other kids.)
    
    I'd like to find someone who will come to my home in Auburn, NH.   
    Infant/Child CPR training preferred but I'd be willing to consider
    paying for the right person to get this training if they meet other
    needs.  
    
    The hours would be 8-4 on Tuesday and Thursday.   College students
    may be able to work this into their schedule.   I'd prefer not to
    have someone bring their own children as that might produce the same
    level of activity that seems to be a problem now.   (When I'm home he's
    more confident and comfortable with change.)
    
    
    Katherine enjoys reading, puzzles and playing in her pool.  At home,
    Markie is a happy easy-going little guy but he expects comforting (as
    recommended by Dr Sears, author of The Baby Book) at nap time (which is 
    hard for a daycare provider to do when there are several other children 
    to care for).   
    
     

    I'm looking for feedback about daycare centers in Shrewsbury, MA.  I've 
    already looked at the Violette Visions center on Rt. 9.  I liked it,
    but would like to hear about others' experiences there.   I'm also
    interested in hearing about the other daycare center (I forget the
    name) that is located behind the Shrewsbury post office.

    So, it looks like I may be in the market for a new provide for
    my nine month old daughter.  I need someone in the Nashua area,
    from exit 5 towards the south.  I have to travel rte 3 to work
    and convenience with the highway is helpful with my commute.
    
    I'd like a couple of other children for company and challenge
    for her, but am presently in a situation with too many children.
    There's got to be a happy medium.
    
    If openings are not present at this time, waiting until the fall
    is an option.  I'd like her moved by September, but could tolerate
    a "little" longer for an opening at the *right* place.

    I am currently back in the search for daycare in the Littleton/
    Westford area.  I have a 5 month and 3 year old.  I am still debating
    between a center and in-home provider.  The only two centers in the
    area that have openings are:

    I'm interested in any feedback on the Winnie the Pooh daycare center
    in Nashua, NH.  It is located off of Exit 5.  It has been in operation
    for approximately 28 years, run by Lorna Brown.  I had a very
    positive impression in my first visit, but it is always difficult
    to tell completely with a few brief interactions.  I did also have
    one recommendation/referal before goign there, but would like more
    details from others if possible.

    My daughter is currently attending day camp at the YMCA camp
    Harrington in Boylston, MA.  The weeks she is not at camp she
    is spending the days with her after-school care provider or on
    vacation with me with one exception, the week of July 24th-28th.
    Her provider will be on vacation that week and its the week 
    before I start my 3-week vacation so taking it off is not an
    option.  I had made some arrangements for her but they fell 
    thru this morning.  I thought about sending her to camp
    but camp Harrington runs in two week sessions and I'd have
    to pay for two weeks even if she is only attending one.
    
    So, I'm looking for daycamp or daycamp options for the week
    of July 24th thru July 28th some where near Boylston, MA or
    between Boylston, Ma and Nashua, NH.

    I am considering changing my daycare provider for various
    reasons, and I wanted to check with folks who might be able 
    to recommend someone before I start calling agencies.
    
    I have an 11 month old boy and also a 5 year old boy.  My
    5 year old will be starting Kindergarten on August 29th so
    I really don't need daycare for him (other than for school
    vacations or a holiday).  I do need to find someone for my
    baby for Tuesday through Friday (maybe some Mondays) from
    about 8:00 to 4:00 or 5:00.  I live in the Grafton Hill area
    of Worcester, so I prefer someone close by that I can drop
    him off to.  I also prefer to bring him to a home with other
    children that he can play with in a structured environment
    (he is currently used to being with brother all day).  I need
    a non-smoking environment, but pets are okay.  Of course as
    all mothers do, I want the best!  Baby John is very energetic -
    he has been walking since 9 months of age.  He loves to be with
    other kids and play, but he also has his periods where he wants
    to be held and needs some affection.

    I need daycare or child care for ONE WEEK!  My son is 8.5, and although
    he is quite active, he really has a very upbeat personality.
    
    I have a gap in our summer program, and need daycare for about a
    week.  Mainly for the week of  Monday August 20 to Thurs 8/24. Our Public
    schools start the following week on Tuesday (8/29), so I'll probably
    just take those two days off. Does anyone know if Family Care in
    Westboro still has the "summer camp" for the older kids (up to third
    grade I thought)  Or can I use the YMCA camp in Boylston for that week?

Looking for a daycare in Acton, MA:

Need part-time preschool or daycare for soon to be 3 year old girl (b-day 
2/11/96)

I'm looking for a daycare center, (not an at home daycare).  Sarah is not 
potty trained yet but has some successes and shows sporadic interest.  I 
don't want her in a situation where she is pressured or humiliated throughout 
potty training.  Three part-time days, preferably mornings would be the ideal 
schedule.  I'm looking for a situation where children are encouraged to 
cooperate and share, and the atmosphere is very positive.  I work at AK01 in 
Acton, MA.  I have an appointment at Building Blocks daycare on Nagog Park 
Drive in Acton, MA on Wednesday 1/17/96.  Has anybody had first hand 
experience with this daycare? OR, have a friend who has used them?  Also, any 
info on other centers in Acton, MA would be greatly appreciated.

    I am looking for daycare near/at rte 119 in the Littleton/Groton
    area starting in September of this year.  My daughter will be
    18 months at that time.  I prefer a daycare center, rather than
    in-home care.
    
    My kids currently go to Children's World in Chelmsford, which I
    am very happy with, but when Tiffany starts public school in
    Groton in the fall, it will be way too hard to coordinate going
    to the other end of Groton to get her, and to Chelmsford to pick
    up Lindsay, so I would like to switch Lindsay to somewhere closer.
    I've seen signs for a few daycare centers along rte 119 and would

    I am looking for daycare/babysitter for 1 day a week in Pepperell, Ma

Anyone have recent experience with the Day Care
program located in the basement of the

Early Learning Center.  They claim to be separate
from the after school program upstairs and
the teachers seemed very good and very committed,

    I'm looking for part-time day-care 2 or 3 days a week for my son who is
    currently 28 months old.  The hours I need are 7:30 or 8:00 until 5:30 or
    6.  He is currently in at-home day care, but he is with his cousins and 
    we think it would be good to get him out into a different environment. 
    For that reason we would prefer a center as opposed to home care.  We
    live in Leominster and I work on Maynard, so the towns I'm looking for
    would be Lancaster, Bolton, Stow, Maynard (something close to the 117
    area).  I know many centers don't take children until they're 2 years,
    9 months, and potty trained (we are nether yet).  If anyone has any 
    suggestions for centers they've had experience with, or knows of any

    I have not date deadline, so if you know of something that's not

    I'm looking for home daycare in Sterling for my 2 daughters, ages 5 &
    7, beginning in mid-August.  Our first choice would be to find someone
    to come to our home, but we may consider bringing the girls to someone
    else's home.
    
    We need someone 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Thurs), 7am - 5:30.  My older
    daughter will be in school most of the day.  The younger one will be in
    half-day kindergarten (with a session switch mid-year).
