The total volume in rec.nude got too high, and the signal-to-noise ratio got too
low, for it to be worth my while keeping it up to date. Also, these days
newsreaders are so easy to come by within DEC that it I'm inclined just to
recommend that people read the newsgroup directly.
However, if there's a large continget of people who were used to reading
rec.nude via the notes file, and who don't want to go to the trouble of learning
how to use Usenet news, then let me know, and maybe I'll go back to updating the
notesfile.

| Here in the UK its lovely and sunny, and has been for the last 2 or 3 days.
The only problem is that's its still < 15 degrees Centigrade, so I and
others are just waiting for the summer - and hoping the sun will continue
to shine.

| Spring is definately here in New England. I heard the pinkle-tinks
in the trees last night and the birds singing this morning. It won't
be long at all before we can get outside.

Niel,
One more vote to continue the updates at least until I get
an internet reader set up. Please.
Geneva is very sunny this week and warm - but more suited
to skiing than nuding.
Our club opens at the end of April. Until then it will have to
be the veranda - and then Crete.

| Ok, I'll start updating again. I'm *not* going to bother being selective; so
(except for the topics I've kill-filed) you'll be getting *everything* from the
newsgroup. Enjoy. :-)

What happened to rec_nude? There were lots of notes but no text in any
of them?

| I give up. I have no idea what goes wrong when Usenotes tries to dump hundreds
of notes a day into a 7000+ topic conference, and I'm not interested in
debugging it.
The old REC_NUDE is now REC_NUDE_1, for anyone who may be interested, and I've
created a new REC_NUDE. Be sure to do a SET SEEN.
