In the Greater Boston area my favorites are Penzance Road in Rockport,
Crane's in Ipswich (though last September someone reported getting a
ticket from a ranger at Crane's though it could be he was on the
main beach) and Castle Rock in Marblehead. The part of Devereux
nearest the neck had some topless use last year. If you want to take
a ride North, Lake Wood in Hull's Cove, ME., is nice with hiking, canoe-
ing and diving (the nude part is actually cliffs, not a beach).

| Note 66.4 describes and gives directions to Lake Wood on Mt. Desert
Island in Maine. Don't know of the other sites- are they in the
World Guide?
