403.0. "Clothing Optional Workshop 3/26-28" by NAC::SKINNER (happy wearin nuthin but a smile) Tue Mar 02 1993 19:21
Recently, I attended a clothing-optional workshop about sex, love and
intimacy given by The Human Awareness Institute. I found it to be an
incredibly sensitive workshop in helping people become more comfortable with
their bodies and self-image in an extremely loving, safe, supportive and
gentle environment. Participants are brought back to their innocence, to
the time before they learned to associate shame and fear with their body.
It can be a great way to introduce a non-Naturist partner to the value and
beauty of the Naturist lifestyle. It is of value for anyone who wants to
increase the quality and quantity of love, joy, and intimacy in their life.
This is a workshop beneficial in improving existing relationships as well as
in starting new, healthy and lasting loving relationships. Some results you
can expect:
o increase the clarity, honesty and trust in your relationships
o be more comfortable and accepting of yourself, your body, and sexuality
o develop new communication skills
o increase self-esteem
o reduce your fear of rejection
o be more loving, intimate and expressive
o meet new people and learn how to connect more openly and easily
o create more loving intimate and healthy relationships
o heal childhood and relationship wounds
o make new and empowering choices in your life and relationships
It's an experiential workshop; not a lot of lecture, most are exercises with
a partner or partners of your choice, with lots of practice in relating.
You'll share trust and honesty and acceptance and openness and respect and
caring and playfulness and risk and affection and forgiveness and
communication. This is a workshop where you will come away loving yourself
and others more fully and being able to express that love more honestly.
In this clothing-optional setting participants learn to be open and
vulnerable with the group as part of the most loving, supportive and SAFE
environment. Participants always have the choice in every exercise to
participate at a level that feels right and comfortable for them. Some choose
to wear all or partial clothing and are totally supported in their choice. The
facilitators are so nurturing and gentle; if I was being reborn I would choose
them as my parents. I have searched in many places and many ways for self-
love and acceptance. I found it in this workshop. I've seen others healed of
abuse and shame and fears. I've witnessed people finally being able to say
"no", and others finally able to say "yes". In one weekend, people can break
through a lifetime of walls and pain and rejection and separateness.
The workshop is gender balanced, with only about 70 participants, so there
may be a waiting list if there is not a balance of men and women. This is a
residential workshop with all meals included, held in a beautiful retreat
center near Gloucester, Mass. The next workshop is March 26-28. The weekend
normally costs $395, but because I am referring you, you will get $50 off the
price ($345). I receive no compensation of any kind for this, I give the
entire referral bonus to you as a gift.
Please send mail for more information, or to register. Please include your
home address if you want information by mail.
I will be there participating, and hope to be able to share this beautiful,
empowering experience with you.
