A call to the State Park at Quinsiqimond (Worcester, Ma.) reveals that thongs are NOT allowed at the public beach. Even though I have worn them there for the last week and saw one other person doing the same. This State beach has two locations on the lake and it would seem fair if one of them allowed some form of relaxed suit code. The first call I made was greeted by a "yes, they are allowed " but I didn't think that the person knew what I was talking about. The second call (just to be sure) got the "NO" response. Guess I'll have to find another noon time activity ed

Things are getting better , this year I seen 3-4 thongs (not including my g) and one woman top-free. No fuss. Maybe people are just getting used to it. ed | |||||

Supposedly ... at all state parks, if something is allowed for men it is also allowed for women. This would mean that topless is allowed for women (unless they wish to enforce shirt wearing for men!) The state constitution (equal rights amendment) states this very clearly. Most people don't know that however, so the workers probably just assume that its not allowed. State police however are quite aware of this fact ... paul |
