| Hi Mike,
I use the hawiian tropics tanning oil since I have a very high
tolerance to the sun for short exposure. For a day of V-Ball at
DRBC I will use #15 bullfrog waterproof and #36 bullfrog for tender
areas. The bullfrog lotion is somewhat more expensive but is waterproof
(I mean real waterproof like all day) lasts all day long without
reapplication and smells real nice. For pre-sun I use an aloe base
pre-sun moistureizer of generic vendor.
I have been searching for a pure coca butter source but so far no luck
the last I found it was the coppertone tanning butter I like the coca
because it seems to be less oily and cleans off better.
Have you been to the reef lately?

| I thought using different SPFs on different parts of the body
didn't work too well (spotty areas where the different lotions meet).

Could very well be I haven't had too much of a problem though I always
make sure I clean my hands before switching grades of SPF.
Humm I wonder if I could start a new fad by zebra stripeing my face
with #36 and nothing where the dark stripes belong?

| Jerry, went to the reef Sat, may be there this weekend if nice...
I'm probably gonna' get some lotion, mix it with olive oil and water in
a spray bottle and see what happens.

| Someone at the 'reef told me they use Hawaian #2, olive oil and water in
a spray bottle.
You'd think that the oil and water wouldn't mix...
Anyone made any tries at mixing their own 'home brew' tanning oil?
The spray bottle is a nice idea. I like it.

| Seems to me that I remember seeing some people last summer using a
tanning oil that came in a spray bottle. If I remember right, they said
they had gotten it at K-Mart or Target. I think it was an SPF 4 or 6.

| I got some Bannana Boat (spf4) which comes in a spray bottle.
A few times at the 'reef I saw people with large (half liter) spray
bottles with oil in them. Seemed like a good idea to me.
Is spf4 same as 40??
