    It's that time of year again!  Time to think NATURIST EASTERN
    GATHERINGS!

    June 14-17 and August 16-19.

    I Just received a bulletin from the TRI-STATE Sun Club (P.O. Box 532,
    Broadway, NJ 08808  phone: 201-689-1048 which is a home phone)

    I will paraphrase the bulletin, but repeat the cost data.

    Place: Pocono Picnic Company in a neat hide-a-way town in Eastern
    Pennsylvania.  This is a no-nonsense good time with stern warnings to
    those who would try overt sex and uninvited photography.  The people are 
    wonderful and so are the Picnic Company personnel.  No smoking in
    any building.

    If you haven't been there (This will be my third experience), you have
    missed a lot.  Lots of beautifully manicured lawns, graceful hillsides
    begging for sun-worshippers, two pools (at least one is heated), tennis
    courts, a beautiful man-made lake with plenty of canoes free for the
    enjoying.  

    ACCOMMODATIONS: All cabins are dormitory style with bathrooms (showers)
    and ten or more single bunk beds in each.  You supply the blankets,
    sheets, pillows and pillow cases.  By the way, it's very chilly there so
    be prepared with more than one blanket.  Couples that prefer, may push
    two beds together and place an air mattress on top.  Couples will be
    housed with other couples.  Separate cabins will be available for
    single men; others for single women.  Groups may reserve cabins
    provided they have a minimum of 6 per cabin (How about a DEC Group?). 
    Plenty of cabins are available but they are for reservation only. 
    Again, no smoking in the cabins.

    MEAL PLAN: They recommend the meal plan.  I have enjoyed the meals.
    Cafeteria style you stand in line (nice way to meet people and chat). 
    All you can eat (head back into line as many times as you wish). 
    Unfortunately special diets cannot be accommodated (bear (bare?)this in
    mind and bring essentials).  Coffee is available before and after
    scheduled dining hours.  Dining rooms are off limits to anyone not on
    the meal plan.

    CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES:

    Gate is closed at times other than those listed.

    JUNE 14-17:

    Thursday Noon - 10 PM Friday: 7am - 10 PM, Saturday: 7am - 4 PM,
    Sunday: 7 am - 10 am. Checkout on Sunday is 5 PM.

    AUG 16-19
    Same as above except early arrivals on Thursday need to wait for the
    announcement before undressing (another group is leaving just before we
    come in). Check-out on Sunday is at 5 but you need to get dressed at 3
    PM (another group comes in at that time). (Gosh!)

    DISCOUNTS 7 RESERVATIONS:

    ASA or Naturist Society Members: DEDUCT $5 PER PERSON, PER DAY.

    Payment IN FULL received 30 days before either event-deduct $5 TOTAL
    per person.  Payment IN FULL for both events received by MAY 14 -
    deduct another $5 TOTAL per person.  TRI-STATE Sun Club members, deduct
    an additional $5 total per person.

    *Day visits: $25 per adult (See above for discounts).  Dependent
    children not on meal plan are free.  Deposits: $25 per person holds
    your space with balance due 2 weeks prior to either event.  All prices
    include registrations fee ($10 per adult) and ground fees. MEMBERSHIP
    CARDS WILL BE CHECKED AT REGISTRATION!

    Note: Is in not appropriate for us to have our own group for such
    events?  We started this last year, but the weather got to us!  How
    about thinking up a name which would be acceptable to those around us
    who might not like the use of a direct company affiliation.

    If you like we might get a van load going there.  If anyone has access
    to such a van, the trip takes a full 6 hours from the eastern Mass area
    (about 300 miles).  Longer coming back because of "back road-minded"
    traffic control on what might otherwise be called a "super highway."The
    group would have to coordinate their starting points and scheduled days
    or things will get mixed up.  
    
    Private cars with people with common schedules would be good, also.
    
    We could then be a group which would be nice.
