| The Pointe at Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix has a nude sundeck on the roof
in the back.
The nude sundeck has its own showers so people don't have to get
dressed to go down to the pool to cool off. There is one section
that is curtained off for more privacy. The interesting thing is that
the nude sundeck is not the highest deck in the hotel. The nude
sundeck is broken up into smaller areas by 3-foot-high cloth barriers
so that if you're lying down, people on the higher sundeck can't see
anything. There's a phone up there so I assume that you can call up
a waiter for food and drink. :-)

| RE: The Pointe...
On the map of the hotel, I saw the words "Au Naturel Sundeck".
Naturally, my eyes lit up at the idea. When I was up there,
there was only one other person (a guy) nuding it. There were other
people up there but they apparently were not seeking the all-over
tan; however, they didn't seem to mind the nudity (since the other
guy parked himself right in front of the elevator!).
Does the Pointe at Squaw Peak have the same thing?
As a five-diamond/star hotel, I imagine the Pointe wants to cater
to anyone who might stay there so they included the nude sundeck.
I suppose alot of hotels also do this.

| I just read a article in a local paper about a hotel in the
South of Spain called "Vera Playa" that is a totally nudists only
hotel, has recently opened and seems to be very much in demand.
Travel agencies should be able to provide the correct address. There is
a publication in Australia called the "Bare Facts" that mentions all
the nudist camps beaches etc. but does not mention Hotels as far as I
know.

| When I was the the Newport Hotel in Miami Beach about 5 years ago, I remember
that they allowed nude sunbathing on the roof, although they did divide it
up into separate sections for men and women. If you and yours were the only
ones up there, you could use the same sections.
Inside from the deck, they had a masseuse available, so I guess they blocked
off the sections so that people could get massages while nude in the main rooms
while not being visible to the opposite sex.
I thought it was funny that they had a button on the elevator that said,
"Nude Sunbathing". I never did use it, but it's there.

Rumor has it that South Florida Free Beach's favorite "gathering
spot of area nudists," the Palms Ocean Resort Hotel, 95th Street

has not been sold, and nudists are still utilizing the sundeck on
the top floor. The dress code for the hotel pool, jacuzzi and
beach areas will remain topfree and G-string. For a $5 daily fee,
you will continue to be offered a beach towel, chaise longue, and
free parking at the hotel. Call (305)865-3551 for further
information (SFFB) or inquire with the hotel pool attendant.
