    Welcome to the Massage Therapy notesfile. 

    This conference has been created to provide a forum for the
    discussion of this aspect of the holistic approach to health. Your
    participation is encouraged. Topics can range from the theoretical
    concepts to practical application. 

    Through many articles in health magazines and newspapers, Americans
    are currently rediscovering the many benefits of massage therapy. 
    Massage therapy is one of the most ancient procedures developed to
    relieve bodily ailments and bring about a state of health and
    well-being.  Today, with the resurgence of holistic health care,
    massage therapy is once again emerging as a legitimate, drugless
    modality in the treatment of people who are sick, sore, or injured,
    as well as all health-conscious people.  Massage therapy is also an
    inexpensive part of any good athletic, stress relief, or
    preventative health care program.
