    I thought that was pretty reasonable, since if you answered "yes"
    to some of the questions, then I could probably say without a 
    reasonable doubt, that you may have already spent some time in jail

	Hmm...don't know what to do with this one...
	I put these in here because they are things that CAN be done nude.
	For instance, a bunch of us went to Solair this past summer and  played
	volleyball; we didn't play tennis there though they did have courts 
	there.  Someone went waterskiing nude at the Ledges last summer so
	it IS possible.  I would imagine some people have gone horseback-riding
	while nude, but I myself don't expect to do that since I've never
	ridden a horse.

	No slight intended against anyone...they're just things to do while
	nuding.

	Anyways...the bonus question that I added to the list asks if you
	are planning on using the Test to get new ideas on what to do when
	you go nuding again the next time. :-)  Any suggested replacement 
	questions would be appreciated.

       You know, when you see one of these things in a magazine there's
    generally a list at the end to help you judge how well you did. It
    would seem we need something similar here.
    
       (For example, a score of 95-100 = Yes! You are a nudist/naturist;
    			"	 1- 10 = Well... Take your clothes off and
    					 reconsider your answers)

    If you can come up with an interesting set of scores with appropriate
    titles or ratings, please submit them here.  
    
    I figure that anyone beyond 30 or 40 is well into being a naturist.
    I mean, some of the die-hard naturists that I know only get into
    the 50's and 60's.
    
    As for "partial credit"...if the answer follows the spirit of the 
    question, then I guess it's close enough.  For instance, if someone
    stole your clothes at the beach but you still had your car keys, then
    I personally wouldn't consider that "getting stuck and locked out" 
    because you could still drive home and get dressed (though you would
    add another point to your final score from driving! :-) ).

    I'll finally 'fess up.  I got a 71!  But I found a lot of overlap,
    and certain activities that I did only once satisfied a number of
    questions.  (I WON'T elaborate!)
    
    Many of these activities occurred when I was a (very active) member
    of Solair.

    I got a 65.  Not too shabby, but I'm hoping to improve my score
    this summer!!  Several of my 'yes' answers came from the Naturist 
    Gathering I went to last summer (and having a hot-tub in my living

Well, I only got a 35.  Guess I'm more of a closet nudist than I 
thought -- of course that leaves lots more opportunities than many 
of you who have higher scores (am an open optimist).

And my 35 might have been lower if it weren't for the fact that I 
live alone.  It also would be lower if it were not for this 
conference, especially Ben who sets up many opportunities.

    Well, I finally got around to taking this test, and like others,
    I scored lower than I anticipated - a 48.  Oh well, guess I'm
    just a novice nudist.  Have to work on improving my score this
    summer.

Depending on how you look at a few of the questions, I scored 88 (with a
possible 90).

The two questions in question are 67 (Ever go nuding at a place that was a
major interest point for a clothed tourist group?) and 68 (Ever go jogging
in the nude?).

There are a number of episodes where I have been involved in a form of
"streaking" (remember streaking?  ..seems so long ago) with many
friends.  The last of which was in August 1986 with three female friends in
Washington DC. We had intended to stroll nude around the Pentagon, but didn't
know how BIG it was.  We had BAREly made it along one side before sighting a
police cruiser. We RAN back to the car, but we didn't get caught.  Nor did we
get dressed. We drove and parked as near as possible to the Lincoln Memorial
where we walked up and said hello to Old Abe.  We were able to climb up and sit
with (on) him and be photographed by countless tourists.  No one seemed the
least bit offended - in fact most people were extremely kind and polite and
encouraged us in our endeavors.  We had many volunteers to take our pictures
with our own cameras.  Of course we had our cameras.  We needed proof.  Anyway,
the nit-picky detail for which I didn't give a "yes" answer to the question
was because I didn't feel that "streaking" was really "nuding".

The second question in question relates to the same topic. I can't "jog" because
of a motorcycle accident I was in in 1974.  I can only run short distances
before I have to stop.  Thus streaking fit the bill.  "Streaks" usually didn't
last too long, so I could usually keep up with the crowd.  As I got older, we
began to think "Why run?" - thus the "strolling streak" evolved.  Anyway (again)
I answered "No" to that question, since streaking and jogging are quite
different things.

To close off this note, I note some curiosity about the questions to which
people have answered "Yes".  I admit that I'M curious, too.  Heck, you can't
help but wonder.  I'm not too "proud" (or embarrassed), so I'll list the ones
I got a "No" on instead.  They were No's 37,38,39,40,58,67,68,72,77(i don't
ski),81,90,97(filmed, but no videotape) and 99.  Out of the six "potential"
questions for the 200-q test, I said "No" to 2 and 5.

RE: this version
    I took out the two questions about knowing what "naturism" and the "ASA"
    are.  I wanted the test to reflect what the test-taker has done and not
    on what he or she knows, particularly in light of question #101.

    The intent of this test is to "have fun" and hopefully to encourage
    or interest some people to try naturism.  Comments about the impropriety
    of certain questions that go against that philosophy have made it 
    necessary to change some questions.

    PS: To Miss "Bare-Buns-of-1989", yes, I know the changes might have

    I was in San Frisco earlier this week on a job interview.  While
    there, I played tourist, and went to Pier 39, a local shopping/
    restaurant/amusements pier.  I was waiting for a multi-media show
    about the history of San Francisco, and having a spare 25� piece,
    I decided to have an amusement machine in the lobby decide what
    my career should be when/if I grow up!  When the lights stopped
    blinking, they pointed to -

    Was he below 500 feet? If so write down his registration number
    N.... and report him to the FAA. Even if he is found not guilty,

Kinda hard to tell.  He may have been about 500 feet but we were up on the
side of a steep hill.  And the plane was a very dark color, even if we had
the time to read his numbers, I'm not sure they were visible....

Was that recently at Valley View?  I heard a helicopter buzzed the top pool
a few times recently.

	Both of these are variable wing aircraft.  It could also be an F-15.
	In any case, non of these planes can go slow enough to see anything.
	At the ledges we get buzzed by the A-10's all the time.  A-10's are
	designed to loiter at slow speeds.

Judy showed me a bunch of books with hot springs out West.  There are
lots of places where nuding seemed to be allowed, judging from the pictures.

    is that since I am sedentary in sporting terms and found a few of the
    questions kind of eliminated themselves because of my sporting activity
    rather than my nuding v. non-nuding activity - ie my percentage was a
    bit higher if you eliminate first the questions that I don't do dressed

    I put in the tennis question because many naturist resorts have several
    tennis courts (Solair in Connecticut, Paradise Lakes in Florida, 
    Treehouse in California, for example) so it's possible for people
    to play tennis in the buff.
    
    With the mile(s) of naturist/open/free beaches around, again, it's
    possible to see people jogging on the beach in the buff (mostly because
    they can do it).
    
    I'm trying to expand the list so if you have any questions to add to
    the list, let me know.

    (I'm not advocating this type of behavior during hurricanes mind you, 
    but I did want to get a closer look at the damage my neighbor's tree

    Oh, by the way, I'm up to 80 points now, although I'm planning to
    go horseback riding this weekend at the Naturist Gathering and I'll

While on vacation last week in southeast Utah, we were traveling out to 
one of our favorite nuding spots when a rock punctured thru a 4 ply heavy 
duty truck tire (2 steel/2 polyester), at night.....  We made it to our 
camp site when we realized the tire was flat.  Thank goodness we were 
driving on soft sand at less than 10 miles an hour!  We left the changing 
until the next morning when there was more light and warmer. :-)

While out together with another couple while camping in Utah a couple years
ago, we did a primitive firing of clay pots the other couple had made.  We 
went into the backcountry, gathered cow pies, built a fire to warm rocks.
After the rocks were warm, the fire was brushed aside, cow pies were laided 
across the hot rocks, the pottery was loaded onto the cow pies, more cow pies 
piled on top, hot rocks and wood and other burnable material on top and the 
fire started again.  This was all done in the nude....had to watch how close 
you got to the fire or hair could be singed (burned).  Our friend took a 
picture of Bob, me and his wife sitting on a log, bare-naked backsides only.  
For Christmas we received one of the pots that was fired during that time and
the photo of us sitting on the log.  It was a special event.

I'm into ceramics and appreciated the opportunity to witness the primitive
firing of their pots.  See, you just never know what you may end up doing
while nude.  :-)

My wife and I did the test some years ago (Autumn 1990, I think), and we both
scored 28.
If I go through the list again, I see that we now score 35 -
that includes the fact that I have now written to this conference.
Moreover: I do score on the item mentioned in reply 49 - changing a flat tyre -
it happened to me in La Sabliere.
