148.0. "new federal, anti-child porn law" by RETORT::GOODRICH (Taking a long vacation) Wed Mar 15 1989 22:59
Does anyone know what impact the new federal anti-porn law
designed prevent child pornography will have on publications
nudist publications?
I have seen bits of this on the news, it seems that, beginning
this summer, any publication containing nudity will be required
to certify that all nude subjects were over 18 when the photos
were taken.
Is this for real? how about family setting photos? My kid's
bodies are as natural to them as they are to me.
How about the private photos I have of my family snow sledding
(yes, snow sledding)! They don't seem very erotic to me, will I
be at risk?

| I think that this is probably a reference to the some subject raised
in note 145. I'll suggest that further discussion take place there.
Thanks.

Your right, the subject is covered in note 145.*.
I couldn't find it by looking at the titles, maybe this note
will serve as a cross reference.
Thanks - gerry
