36.1 | A few notes in REC_NUDE | MOIRA::FAIMAN | Ontology Recapitulates Philology | Tue Mar 22 1988 15:58 | 5 |
| There has been some discussion of Mexico in rec.nude on the USENET--
see REC_NUDE topics 169, 350, 354, and 357. (None of it is very
encouraging, I'm afraid.)

36.5 | Beaches in Mxico | MXOV06::BLANCO | Con paisaje, o sin paisaje | Thu Jun 16 1988 14:34 | 21 |
| From Mxico City.
I think that this stufs depends on the way that you get and see
the things.
In Mxico there are a lot of nude beaches most of them in Oaxaca
(Zipolite), and Chiapas (Agua Azul), but you can find other in Qintana
Roo (near to Can Cun). Nevertheless, the people there is from Europe,
Canada, USA, Australia; you only need an adventure soul, and take
a trip through the Oaxaca, Chiapas or Quintana Roo.
But there is a special point to focus. In those places there are
a few Mexican people. This fact became from the idiosyncrasy of
the poeple. I'll try to talk deeply about this in my next entry.
BTW: People in Europe, Canada & USA Know more nude beaches than
mexican people.

Maybe I couldn't explain my self in my last note.
In Mexico there are still, a lot of prejudices about naturism.
Most of people have a conservative mind, and only some small groups
have an open mind. In general, you can find all kind of people in
Mexico; but in most cases, the people with non-traditional way of
life, are just a few, and very closely.

36.9 | Manzanilla and the sun | BUFFER::HODGSON | | Thu Jan 19 1989 17:18 | 13 |
| HI all you sunny folks! My family and I will be venturing down
to the west coast of Mexico the end of March, and as Andres so well
said, one must have an adventrous soul(sole?). We plan to stay
near Manzanilla (Club Maeva). A little SCUBA diving, swimming,
horseback riding, and lots of sunning. We're hoping the sunning
can be social as well as private when appropriate.
Does anyone know the area and the customs(mores) of the local
folks? We certainly like to practice nudity, but not at the cost
of being offensive to others.

36.10 | Las hadas se desvisten. | MXOV07::RODRIGUEZ | | Mon Feb 27 1989 17:30 | 14 |
| HI!!! Hodgson.
The Manzanillo "Las Hadas " is a resort beach, it's at your
own risk to get nude, the one I recommend you in Mxico is very
easy to find a solitary beach, where you can get sunburn not far
from Manzanillo, you can ask to the bell boy & I am sure he is going
to help you. If you want to do it at Manzanillo Beach ask it first
topless is not bad seen, mostly beaches do it now, but beware because
Mexicans are very curious, childs under seven are not problem.
Enjoy your SUNBURN.

36.11 | More about Las hadas | MXOV07::RODRIGUEZ | | Tue Feb 28 1989 10:45 | 14 |
| This is more about Manzanillo, is known as the sailfish capital
of the world, but is also a genuine paradise of beaches and water
sports. A combination of blue sea, lush vegetation, an average
temperature of 78o f. and three hundred days of sunshine a year,
make Manzanillo one of the most preferred vacation spot by tourists
throughout the world. Much of the coast, nature has formed reefs
which provide for some of the best conditions for the great variety
of exotic tropical fish and for exploring several sunken galleons
long losted. Manzanillo offers more than 20 miles of beaches if
ypu like you can rent a boat and sail about the bay at your leisure
and get full tan. Las hadas is considered one of the most luxurious
hotels in the world.
