Hi Bruce-
XPS 8.10 entered controlled release 8 Jan 97- so we missed December by
eight days. The release has been used in a benchmark situation at the
Valbonne benchmark center for xxxxxxxx xxxxxx- we're waiting on a
writeup from that team, but verbally have received assurances that it
worked well and scaled much better than did OPS.
This version of XPS will continue to be available in controlled release
until we get 8.11 to General Availability release in April or May. If
you have customer benchmarks or customers willing to work with this
code it will be orderable with the agreement of Informix Product
Management- ie, they'll approve the release for good business reasons.
