My cat (Unit) is minding its own business lying out on the side door
steps on a warm Saturday, near a bird feeder. She pretty much ignores
the birds. Til now. A very large wild turkey comes strolling up
out of the woods. This thing was huge: about three feet long, altho
most of that is neck and tail feathers. The turkey and cat did a
staredown; both unsure of what to do. Unit finally bails and wants
to be let in. Final score: cat: 0 turkey: 1.
