964.1 | Central Animal hospital | NETCAD::DREYER | More great memories | Thu Dec 28 1995 06:24 | 7 |
| Jim,
I think you'll find many recommendations in Leomnister will be for Central
Animal hospital. I know people who come from Maynard to go there, the vets
are wonderful.

964.2 | a vote for Central Animal Hosp. | BIGQ::BITTICKS | | Thu Dec 28 1995 06:25 | 7 |
| I live in Auburn and drive nearly 30 miles to take my babies to Central
Animal Hospital. They have separate cat and dog areas and a scale that
will weigh even my baby, who is currently at a svelte 187. The cat who
owns me, the Hon. Colonel Sebastian Moran, DROFFC, recommends them
whole heartedly.

| Central Animal Hospital is a great one...and also Fallon Animal
Clinic in Lunenburg is also very good with loving vets.

964.4 | Central Animal Hospital - the best | STOWOA::DUSSAULT | | Fri Dec 29 1995 05:26 | 9 |
| I have three cats - two Maine Coons and a Persian and I think Central
Animal Hospital on Route 12 in Leominster is the best! I wouldn't
go anywhere else. They are located just beyond Paul's Hardware
and mall complex - past the lights near Marrone's restaurant.
I "spoke to you before" about P Brody Shelter - what did you
end up doing?

Gael,
We are having our current cat go through the battery of FELV
vaccinations before we move another cat into the house. She tested negative but
we were highly advised to get her juiced up with the vaccine before getting her
a buddy. I believe we will go to the Pat Brody shelter for our next cat. There
is so much favorable press about them and I don't ever remember seeing anything
negative printed about them. We'll probably visit them sometime next month to
just talk to them as see what their operation is like. Thanks for inquiring
about it.

| Sari,
I'm anxious to know, too - I have two Maine Coons who will
get pretty big - but what are you feeding yours!

964.8 | only a pseudo feline | BIGQ::BITTICKS | | Tue Jan 02 1996 04:38 | 8 |
| Sorry, this baby is a canine as opposed to a feline. He is trying to
learn to purr like his big brother, the Colonel. And he does rub my
wrists much like a cat rubs ankles. He also likes catnip. He is also
very mischievous, so his breed is the only Saintly thing about him. I
just mentioned him to show that Central has a full range of services
and thinks of everything.

| Jim...I have been volunteering at the Pat Brody Shelter for
5 years now. If you want any info regarding the shelter and
the cats...just let me know. You can read Note 17 for alot
more info too.
All Pat Brody shelter cats are tested for Felv/FIV, spayed/neutered,
and have had their booster and Rabie shots. The cats medical records
can be sent to you once adopted.

| I too highly recommend Central Animal Hospital. They are very good and
all three doctors are excellent. They have been great to my crew of 8
cats!

964.11 | ANOTHER VOTE FOR CENTRAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL | ASDG::GALLAGHER | | Sat Jan 13 1996 13:24 | 8 |
| I have been going to Central Animal Hospital for 4 years. My 3 cats
and 2 dogs are always well taken care of there. They have an excellent
staff of people and the doctors are super, especially Dr. Mulcahey and
Dr. Moss. I know they are in good hands when I have to leave them
there.

| Jim,
You may have already made a decision as far as what vet is best for
your cat's needs but my vote as to go to the Hudson animal clinic
here in Hudson. Dr. Aldrich loves cats to pieces! The rates are
reasonable and there is a discount for multiple pet owners.
I don't know the street name offhand but the phone number is
508-562-2868 in case there is anyone reading this who need a local vet.
