| I'm so sorry about MeatBee. At least she was in good hands and this
wasn't of long duration. I know my vet's staff really loves the
animals, and that makes them feel secure, even though according to
the Cat Code they have to protest, just as they do when you or I give
them a pill. You may want to ask your vet if an autopsy would be a
good idea. I know it probably sounds awful, but I'm glad I did this
when my first cat died, because I wanted to know if what caused his
death would be harmful to any other cats I might have. Hang in there,
Karen

| I'm so sorry too. Thank you for typing in the description of MeatBee's
last days--that's hard to do, but it gives us a picture of how special
she was. Remember she knew how hard you were trying to help, and
cherish those days at home when she "rallied" for a while.

| Thinking of you fondly. I still choke up over our Morris, who died
a year ago February. Someone put it beautifully....our beloved kitties
go where they can play and curl up in our laps and purr forever.
Our thoughts are with you.

Thank you all for your thoughts and for sharing my sadness. It has
been so lonely without her sitting here helping me 'work'. I have
3 other cats but they are cat cats she was my human cat. She was
more of a friend and companion than any other pet that has ever owned
me.
I did not have an autopsy done, but at the time I was just too
upset to think of her being cut open for any reason. I hope there
won't ever be a next time for that decision.
I'll look for her at the bridge.
Thanks all,
Becky

| Sorry to hear about MeatBee. Your story brought back memories of
CindyCat who acted very similiar in her last days, and it brings tears
to my eyes. I'm glad her last days were filled with so much love, and
you will always have those special days to remember.

Hi, there,
I know this note is a bit late but I was away on holiday and only just
went back into notes. Sorry to hear about MeatBee, it must be awful for
you.
When my Mischa was ill (before she died - 8 weeks ago) it was really
killing me having to force feed her with liquid paraffin to try and
shift a blockage in her intestines. I was in tears several times and
telling my Mum that I just couldn't put her through it because I knew
how much she must be hating it. Mum said that we had to do all we could
to save her and she was right. If we didn't try everything we'd never
forgive ourselves.
Don't be hard on yourself. It's terrible to lose a little furry friend
but I'm sure you'll meet her again at Rainbow Bridge as I will meet
Mischa.
I'll say a prayer for you and MeatBee.
Trevor
