| The vet will make the call as he sees it... just make sure he knows
Shilo has the cold in his eye back again. If it isn't too bad, most
likely the surgery will be done. BUT if his lungs are at all congested
too, they will probably postpone it.

| In my unmedical opinion it would make more sense not to have any
surgery when the cat is unwell unless its an emergency. In human
terms would you expect to undergo surgery if you had heavy cold? I
don't think you would. Would a month or so delay to ensure that the cat
is well cause so much of a problem. Considering whats going to happen
to him I would wait till he is well.
Perhaps he does know whats going to happen and thats the reason for him
being sick poor chap.

| Updated on Shilo!
Shilo is home today. We took him to the vets last night and I
explained my feelings about how I didn't think that he was ready. She
checked him out and he still has the cold in his eye and a few other
minor problems. She said that it was best to wait..
I felt so much better.

| Well done!
Ask the vet, and do what s/he says. Cat feels better, you feel better,
vet feels better...
Best wishes to *his* eye!
