| I will be sitting, reading a book and minding my own business. I go to
turn the page and notice a cat sitting on my lap, purring. He/She
wasn't there when I started reading and I never noticed him/her climb
into my lap and settle down, but he/she is there now, comfortably
lazing.
I suppose if I could purr, this would be the moment I started: just the
two of us peacefully letting the world go by.

The Cats protection League ran events this week - national cat week -
and the local division raised over 800 quid (1200 dollars) with various
events.
They ae NOT full, they can take quite a few more cats, and they also
had many new volunteers come forwards to foster cats in future,
should their current homes get full.
So watchout Slick, you better behave yourself ! :-)

hate you... and love you at the same time!!! I told Steven about you
taking 3 home... and how much fun you are having... now we are having
fun too.. but also hissing/growling and mad bigger kids... hope they
settle down SOON!!!)

People like Sandy, Yonee and Heidi L. who all wrote me wonderful
helpful off-line notes about my pregnant little stray kitty.
I've been so busy and bothered lately I didn't answer any of
their messages (tomorrow is one of my favorite words ;-) but
you were all so kind and helpful - I feel like a total jerk for
procrastinating this long - just didn't know what to say.
