    For those of you who have kept a watchfull eye regarding Chub's health,
    unfortunately he is gone.  He went back into the hospital on Monday for
    a blockage problem and he took a turn for the worst on Tuesday night
    and the vet said that the poison had gone through his entire system
    affecting other organs and the humane thing to do was to put him to
    sleep.  I am going to miss him desparately, he was a good pet and never
    a problem.

    Pat, I'm so sorry about Chubs. You did the best you could for him, and
    knew when it was time to let him go. My thoughts are with you. Keep his
    memory in your heart andhe will never really be gone.
    
    Chubs' name is being added to the Silver Lining Memorial list if that
    is all right with you.

    Pat, my DEEPEST condolensces.  I know what you did for him, I know
    how you watched over him and kept taking him to the vet.  I am in
    shock!  You did everything you could for him, please try and take

    So sorry to hear about your friend Chubs. I am sure he had a wonderful
    life with you. I have lost many dogs in my life, and I am sure many
    more to follow, but I try to think that they are all in a beautiful
    part of heaven, an area where there are beautiful flowers, trees,
    springs, lakes, sunshine, and all being watched over by St. Frances
    whose care and love for animals have no boundaries.

    I am saddened by your lost.  I know just how you feel.  You did do the
    right thing for Chubs as hard as it was for you to make that decision. 
    I had to make it a few years ago for my Nicole.  She was 19 and
    everything was starting to go wrong.  
    
    I know that we will see our best friends again on the other side..
