A freind of mine would like to become a cat owner and I have advised
him to try the CATS PROTECTION LEAGUE but I don't know of any in the
NorthWest of England.
Does anyone know where ther is a branch and if so could you please post
the address/tel No here.

I don't have the CPL branch list, so contact the Reading branch on
(0734) 482902 and they'll have the details. I think that they're based
in Caversham, but the address will be in the 'phone directory if you
need it.
Best of luck for your friend. I found my cat 'Domino' through the CPL
last year and highly recommend them.
