Of black kittens/cats this season........ Saw a "free" ad in last week's paper that read: "HALLOWEEN Kittens (2) 1 witch black and 1 pumpkin orange Free". ( and tel. #) I just had to call the # to at least warn the person who put ad in paper. I'm sure from talking to this woman she put it in like this to make them sound more attractive for someone to want but the "witch black" kitten is the one I worried about (as well as all the other black cats/kittens outside at this time of year). I warned her of being careful who might want that particular kitten because of the various cults who like to torture and kill black kittens/cats during Halloween season. She thanked me very much for letting her know this and said she'd screen anyone carefully. Pat & Clan

WARNING: Please be careful if you have an all white or
mostly white cat! It's getting close to Halloween, and most
people are aware that black cats may be taken for satanic rituals
or to be abused out of ignorance.
Well, white cats are now also in the same boat, as they are considered
"pure". I was informed of this last night by the shelter, as they
have had calls requesting all white or black cats.

Oh great! I suppose they'll eventually want to sacrifice cats of ALL
colors for one of their stupid reasons. And no, I don't respect their
(cults) difference of opinion.
