I couldn't find a note about amusing stories. If there is one please
move this.
My boyfriend babysat for me Monday for me to go to school. He picked
my apartment key got the baby no problems. Tuesday morning I'm in a
rush to get out the door go pick up K.C. and get to work. About 10
o'clock I realize, house key is sitting on top of my VCR, and the front
door is locked. GREAT!!! Okay no problem call the landlord, landlord
doesn't have a copy of my key. Plan B we pick Leigh K.C.'s husband
bring him to my house, as he's attempting to pick the lock, we go get
my daughter. After warning neighbors that he WASN'T breaking in and DO
NOT call the police. We get back Leigh is at my back door which is
upstairs trying to force the bolt to give. He's gripping the bottom of
the door with both hands and pulling. All of a sudden he gets this
look on his face let's go of the door and says "WHAT THE HECK IS
THAT!!!" .............. My 6 week old kitten Alpo was on the other
side of the door licking and nibbling his fingers. Everytime Leigh got
a grip on the door and started to pull, Alpo would attack. Needless to
say K.C. and I were in stitches. I finally did get in but through the
front door. We found an old key out in the backyard and it opened my
door.
Gee I should get a sign "WARNING - fingers under doors are fair game...
signed Alpo". Gives new meaning to the phrase "takes a licking keeps
on ticking" :^)

Yup...I was there!
Leigh was getting so ticked that he just kept yelling "Hey! Cut that
out!" and finally yelled to Alpo, "Open the door!"
Of course, the look on his face when Kim opened the door (after going
in the front) was interesting as well...we didn't tell him about the
found key just yet...
But Alpo is definitely a "Watch-cat"! :^)
