    Just a quick warning...
    
    Now that the temps have warmed up and the ice on ponds and lakes is
    melting, please watch your little animals.
    
    I went down to feed our ducks over the weekend and found a beautiful
    young cat (black with white paws and chest) floating in the pond
    dead.
    
    He must have tried to chase the ducks and either jumped on the ice
    which was too thin to hold him or he slipped into the pond somehow
    (or was pushed??).
    
    My heart ached for that family that is wondering where their fur
    baby has gone.  It scared me too, since one of my cats loves to
    go down to the pond and chase the ducks along the shore.
    
    I asked everyone on my street if they owned/lost a black and white
    kitty but no one knew who he belonged to so I called the managing
    agent for our condo association and they were going to call the
    Nashua police/Animal Rescue Officer to come and get him.
    
    We're sad about the loss of this beautiful animal.
