      Yes this is from yet another silent noter...  I saw this in the
    Boston Globe last night and thought I'd pass it on.
    
                     "A Hunky Woody Allen?"
    
      > Walt Willey, who plays Jackson Montgomery on "All My Children,"
    brings his stand-up comedy act to Nick's Comedy Stop on July 26 in
    Saugus and July 27 in Boston.  This hunk of soap startdom has the look
    of a male model but the soul of Woody Allen, according to some who have
    heard his material.
    
      I really enjoy reading all of your comments.  It makes watching the
    show so much more interesting.

    I watched an early Demi Moore ex Jackie on GH) movie last night called
    "A Small Affair", it was pretty good, about a twentysomething singer
    and a 16 year old fellow.  The only reason I mention it, is I was
    really taken back to her GH days as she looked the same in this movie
    as she did on GH (long hair, heavier than she is now).  If you haven't
    seen it and it shows up on one of you TV channels I recommend watching
    it, it was pretty good.

         I was watching an episode of Jake and the Fatman last night and
    who do I see, the young boy who plays Sly on GH.  He's a good little
    actor.			Peggy

    I saw an "All in the Family" episode Sunday night and guess who
    was on?  Gary Leary(sp) who played Luke on GH and now is on General
    Hospital again as another character.  What a sight he was on 
    "All in the Family"  I didn't recognize him but his voice gave him
    away.  He had super straight hair and nerdy glasses.  

    Phil Carey, who plays Asa Buchanan was also on the same episode of All
    in the Family.  He played a photographer friend of Archie's, who hangs
    out in Kelsey's Bar.  Archie finds out that the guy (Phil Carey) is
    gay.

    Ruth Warwick is touring at malls as a representative of a cosmetic
    line. I think its Este Lauder.  It might even be a clothing line. It's
    been a few weeks since I waw the poster.

    I saw Anna Lee (Lila, GH) in a movie last week with Anne Bancroft.  It
    was called "7 Women"  It was about these missionary women in China who
    were all held hostage by some Chinese tribe..  Good movie, made in the
    50s.  Anna played the part of a kind of airhead.

    Speaking of Anna Lee - she was also in "The Sound of Music". She plays
    one of the nuns. You can pick her out at the beginning, she's one of
    the nuns who sing the song about "how can you tame Maria".

    I watched Hunter on Friday night and saw two stars from All My
    Children.  The kid that plays Brian Bodine had a very small part.
    He played a high school student who was brought in for questioning
    about something.  
    
    But the other star that was on was the woman who played Cindy Parker.
    In this episode she played a psychopath who killed cops.  It was quite
    a bit different from her AIDS stricken AMC character.  I thought she
    did a very good job!

    I saw pretty woman over the weekend and Will from AMC, a tiny,tiny part
    in it. He was a bell boy, watching her walk by.

    I saw the woman who plays Julia Medina on OLTL on an episode of St.
    Elsewhere last night.  She had short, blonde hair but it was definately
    her.  I'd know that voice anywhere.

    Hey all you fans out there in Chicago, Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery)
    is going to be at "Who's on First" in Elmhurst on July 5.  My friend
    got a bunch of tickets and I'm pretty sure I'll go with her.  The place
    is located on 83 and St. Charles Road.  We are going to the 10:45 show
    and I think there's an early one too.  Tickets are $15 with a two drink
    minimum.  The place isn't very big so if you plan on going, call NOW!!

    I saw the old Ginny Blake from GH on a movie called Ghost Story last
    weekend. I don't even rememebr much about her (Ginny Blake) I know it
    was way back in the days that I watched GH w/ my shcool friends. I
    remember she had a son, and he was part of the story, he looked like
    her. Anyway...the Movie was OK.

    Last night on Showtime I watched "Armed and Dangerous" with John Candy. 
    There was one scene where he was stuck in all this traffic on an L.A.
    freeway and walked up to a BMW.  The lady in the car was supposed to be
    this rich woman from L.A., and she was played by Sharon Wyatt, Tiffany
    from GH!  She rolled the window up on John Candy and was yelling at
    him, just like our Tiffany!!  She was only on for about 45 seconds
    though.  The movie was nothing great but it had some funny parts.

    OK, don't laugh, but I was watching an episode of My Three Sons, (I
    love that show) this morning on TBS.  Beulah Quo who plays that
    dudette, Olin on GH was on there as Mrs. Wong.  Now that I think of it,
    there were several episodes with the Wong family.  I wonder if she was
    in all of them.  I admit, I didn't recognize her at first, but the
    voice sounded familar and she looked familar.  Then, when the credits
    ran, I saw the name and it clicked in.  That particular episode is
    about 26 years old.

    Anyone remember Dennis Parlato in One Life To Live.  Last year he
    appeared in two of Milford NH's American Stage Festivals productions.
    This year he is appearing in another one Educating Rita - to be put on
    later in the summer.  
    
    I was at Cole Porter's Malibu on Friday night and during intermission I
    saw some one very familiar at the concession stand.  After taking a
    couple of glances I realized it was Dennis.

    Yes he Michael Grande.  He is a great actor - I loved him in ASF's
    Cyrano de Bergerac.  He was excellent.  He also played the lead in "A
    Little Night Music."  The man can sing too!
    

    Well, I just watched Geraldo.  The title of the show was "Excitement
    Junkies:  Addicted to Drama, Danger and Self Destruction.
    
    Five women whose lives were "soap operas" in real life were on the
    panel. They have had everything happen to them that you can possibly
    imagine, including rape, assault, married multiple times, etc.  Geraldo
    focused on "real life" soaps.
    
    Cady McClain's part on the show was about people who take her part for
    real.  She had a letter from a "fan" who called her a witch, husband
    stealer etc.  The "fan" was mad because Dixie had taken Adam away from
    Brooke.  She talked about living the part of Dixie for about a year and
    a half and finally collapsed physically from exhaustion and a kidney
    infection.  She really had to learn how to pace herself and quit the
    play she was working on.  She looked pretty good, with an off-white
    suit on.  Very simple with her hair down.  Geraldo asked her how she
    liked the movie Soapdish and she said no.  I forget her reason.
    
    They also had Dan Lauria of the Wonder Years (the father).  He played a
    pimp, Gus on OLTL ten years ago.  His character raped Karen Wolek. 
    Anyway, he told the story of how after the rape of Karen, a "fan" was
    waiting outside for him and hit him over the head with a full Coke can. 
    He needed seven stitches.
    
    I ff'ed through most of it, pretty boring for the most part.

    Well, another star from GH was on My Three Sons this morning.  Anna Lee
    (Lila) played an English women whom Steve met while in England.  She
    looked to be about 50ish in this one.

    Two things...
    
    I was playing remote roulette last night and saw the actress who
    plays Mimi Reed playing a model on Matlock.  She is beautiful.
    But, that's not my kind of show so I switched off.
    
    Second, in yesterday's Boston Globe in the "Senior Citizen" column
    (I'm a news junkie, I read everything) there was a picture of
    Ruth Warrick (Phoebe) and the following article accompanied her
    photo:
    
    "Actress Ruth Warrick has played the role of Phoebe in the tv soap
    opera AMC for so long that her fans give her advice on the plot when
    she meets them in real life.  Now, at 75, Warrick has taken on an
    additional job promoting Easy Dressing Fashions, a contemporary line
    of clothing for older women, particularly those afflicted with
    arthritis, who may have difficulty buttoning buttons, fastening snaps
    or grasping small tabs on zippers.
    
    Nearly 47 percent of women over the age of 45 have some form of
    arthritis.  Although many lead active lives, those with severe forms 
    of the condition often have problems getting dressed that can slow them
    down.  These designs, which use Velcro fastenings instead of buttons 
    or zippers, can also help people with Parkinson's disease.
    
    'It's more than a matter of convenience.  If you don't look right, you
    can't feel right. Diet and exercise are important, but so is your self-
    esteem.  If it takes you two hours to dress and your clothes are not
    comfortable, you may withdraw from life just when it's most important

    Warrick's first major role was in the classic film Citizen Kane.  She
    played one of the wives of Charles Foster Kane, portrayed by Orson
    Welles.  In addition to her work as an actress, she is a spokeswoman
    for Arts in Education, encouraging business to sponsor arts programs in
    elementary schools.  Last year, she went to Moscow to participate in a
    global Human Survival forum.

    Was flipping through the channels yesterday and saw Susan Lucci in an
    episode of the Fall Guy, she had her short hair and looked really young 
    in this episode.
    
    Also saw the actress who played Wendy Masters (GH) in a Keifer
    Sutherland movie called Crazy Moon.

    This is going to be hard 'cause I can't remember the character's
    name or the name of his wife on All My Children but I saw this 
    guy on The Trials of Rosie O'... (forgot the name of the show too).
    
    I think he played "Wade" (was that his name).  He was married to
    Mari... and when their marriage started going down the tubes 'cause
    she was making so much more money on the soap and his business died,
    he moved to California.
    
    Does anyone know who I'm talking about?  Anyway, I caught about
    5 minutes of the Rosie show and he arrives at her house and has
    to comfort her after her 'bout with a thuggy kind of guy.

    Well I saw Walt Willey last Friday.  Boy was I shocked!!  He was better
    looking in real life, had an earring in his left ear, used foul
    language, and talked about sex alot!  He is originally from a small
    town here in Illinois and came out playing a guitar and singing a song
    called "Boy from Illinois".  It was pretty clever and my friend's
    mother got his pick from the guitar.  We were the first one's in line
    to get in so we were at the table directly in front of him.  I was
    about six seats away from him!  He made a couple of references to Pine
    Valley and ended with another song about people from Pine Valley.  That
    was really funny.  Supposedly he is coming back in the fall and I'd go
    see him again.  Oh ya, this girl named Lisa Ann Walters tours with him
    and she was great.  I'll be anxious to hear about his show in Boston. 
    After more people see him, sorry I forgot who all is going, we should
    compare notes.  I don't want to ruin any surprises for you!!

    Genie Francis was in a movie last night and the night before on either
    USA or Lifetime, it was called Bare Essence.

      If anyone has seen "Wild at Heart" with Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern
    at the end of the movie they show Lulu (Laura) with her 5 year old son
    named Pace.  He looked alot like Sly on GH.  The Credits listed him as
    Glen Walker Harris Jr.  He was cute.  I've yet to catch GH when they
    actually list credits at the end of their show, but I'm sure it was
    him.
    
      Also, there was this really boring movie on Monday night (on FOX 25)
    called "Pink Lightning" (1991).  I only saw the last 1/2 hr or so. 
    Whose face shows up but Stephanie Williams (formerly Dawn on GH).  IMO
    her acting was just as boring in this movie as it was on GH.  It was
    about 5 girls going on a road trip in a 1948 Pink Plymouth convertible
    in 1962 California.  ..... It was on twice that night on two diff.
    channels (blech) so if you really want to catch it, it will prob. be on
    again...

    the walt willy tickets for nick's in boston are $18 for seating in
    the first 2/3 of the club and $16 for the last 1/3. i called last
    wednesday? and they had tickets left.

AMC's Walt Willey is a Stand-up Kind of Guy

When AMC's Walt Willy (Jack) walks onstage at Stand Up NY, he plunges right in,
adjusting the shortened microphone as he quips:  "I guess they were expecting
Lucci [co-star Susan Lucci is just over five feet]."  Here begins his torrent
of jokes that will poke fun not just at his show but at himself.

Imitations of AMC's Stuart and Tad bring laughs, but the audience really digs a
Willey-written send-up called Here in Pine Valley.  Willey strums on a guitar
and sings:  "How about Trevor, who clothes could cause riot.  He's obviously on
the Oprah Winfrey diet."

His delivery is quick, witty and somewhat conscending-the mostly female
audience loves it.  "I do the Pine Valley cross-over stuff because it's fun. 
It's things that people think, so when someone who's on this show says it, they
feel release and camaraderie," explains Willey.

While Willey appreciates the security that his familiar face give him in
drawing crowds, he wonders if fans are reacting solely to Jackson, and failing
to see Walt, the comedian.  "Let's face it:  People come to see me the first
time because of Jactson, but the repeats aren't all Jack fans.  My job is to
make sure people don't leave feeling cheated, and I don't think folks do."

Willey reluctantly admits that his good looks do create a problem for him as a
comic."  "When you're a leading man type and you walk out and try to do comedy,
the guys hate you immediately and the girls are afraid to react because they're
with their men.  So the first thing I do is a self-deprecation (I think it's
supposed to be self-depreciation) thing about my silly name, and growing up in
a small midwestern town.  It takes the edge off and I get the audience on my
side."  Most of his self-effacement borders on raunchy:  "I had my first sex in
a corn field; I was alone at the time."  Lewd or not, the crowd loves it.

Seven years ago, though, Willey wasn't getting the laughs and nearly gave up
comedy for good.  "Why beat your head against a wall?"  he asks.  "The only
reason I ever thought that I was funny was because I was funny in conversation,
but that's different."  After taking a break, Willey wrote some material that
he thought was funny, and he tested it at Catch a Rising Star.  "The response
was really good," he recalls, "so I said, 'Hell, let's try doing this.'"  The
rest is history.

    Tina Lord Roberts (Karen Rider, is it?) From OLTL was on a Nice & Easy
    commercial tonight. I saw it while watching Murphy Brown. Her voice was
    different. Seems like when she projects her voice on the show it comes 
    out kind of hoarse & squeeky. It was different on the commercial. Also,
    her personality was different too, I almost didn't recognize her, it
    was that different!

    I'm going to see Walt's show tomorrow night in Boston and was wondering
    if anyone knew if cameras are allowed into Nicks?   I doubt I'll ever
    be in the same room with him again, so I'd kinda like to capture this
    moment on film.   It'll definitely be a Kodak moment.

    I'll give my opinion.  
    
    HE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    
    He really was funny too.  You know how they say that tv adds 10 pounds
    to you, well, it really does for him.  He looked much thinner and
    younger than he does on tv.  I was so P.O.'d because I called to ask if
    I could take pictures, and they said no.  When I got there there were
    signs all over saying "no photographs allowed".  The first comedian and
    the host, who was also hilarious, said if you were going to take
    pictures, take them curtiously.  Everyone went nuts, because no one
    brought cameras!  A couple of people did, lucky them.
    
    One thing I noticed was that he grabbed his crotch a lot.  
    
    He also walked onto stage smoking a butt, but he still looked awesome.
    
    He did imitations of Stuart, and I can't remember anyone else!  He sang
    the song "here in Pine Valley", we all sang along that verse.  He made
    fun of Trevors clothes, Bobby in the Attic, Adam and Dixie making a
    baby, ummmm...someone help out here!  
    
    It was really fun, we were talking with everyone around us about AMC
    and GH and OLTL, it was like we all had the same friends!!!!
    
    
    
    I was impressed with his comedy act, he didn't just talk about AMC, he
    had a lot of other material too.  He said that he just got divorced
    officially last Wednesday.

    Well, as for Kathryn, Heather and me at the show, Walt didn't show.  He
    was stranded in New Jersey by the rain.  So, they had Walt's opening
    act and a local comedian fill in and the show was on the house.  Walt
    has been rescheduled for either Aug. 9 or 10, Nick's will call us to
    give us the exact date by Wednesday.  We had a good time though.  Gotta
    run.  I'll check in later.

    Yup, stupid Walt waited til the last minute to catch the shuttle from
    NYC to Boston in the MIDDLE OF A MONSOON!!!!!!!!!  So he wound up
    stuck in Newark.  Served him right.
    
    Anyway, the night out was worth it to finally meet Cheryl and to
    hang out with Kathryn.  We are going to go when they reschedule Walt
    in a few weeks!  And we will bring cameras.  And get there early
    since our allegedly front 1/3 of the room seats really did not
    exist.  I think Nick's Comedy Stop led us on and hosed us as far
    as advanced purchases go.  We got there right at 7:30 for the 8:30
    show and the room was already full, with reserved tables up front
    for relatives & friends of the restaurant owners and employees.
    We were miffed, to say the least!  Should have thrown a Phoebe
    temper tantrum!
    
    The people who appeared were fairly funny (some local guy who has
    been on America's Funniest People and Lisa Ann Walter...who can
    get REAL gross).  
    
    We'll update ya'll when we go in a few weeks!

    Well, impatient moi decided to call Nicks to see if they had
    rescheduled Walt's show yet.  They were on the phone with Walt's people
    as I was talking to the guy.  No date has been scheduled as yet, but it
    should be by tomorrow morning.  He said they would call us in the
    afternoon tomorrow.
    
    The reason I was so impatient is that they said they were trying to
    schedule the 9th or the 10th.  The 9th is fine with me, but the 10th
    isn't.  So, hopefully, it will be the 9th.  I'll post it as soon as I
    know.
    
    Was the 10:30 show postponed too on Friday???  Were we the only "lucky"

    Last night a movie called "Elvis and Me" was on here in California.  It
    was from Priscilla Presley's point of view.  I guess it was a series,
    and last night was the conclusion.  Anyway, our little Susan Walters,
    former Lorna on Loving was playing Priscilla. She did a good job, even
    though the movie wasn't that great.  
    
    Did make me wish they would bring Lorna back to Loving though.

    Coach is on right now, and Dorian Lord from OLTL is on it. I don't
    usually watch this show every week, so I didn't catch what kind of a
    character she's playing. Did anyone else notice it? She does look a
    bit different though.
    
    She's back.......seems like she's a recruter for the college Hayden 
    works at & is trying to get this new & hot basketball player on the
    team so she can get some new blood into the team.

    The actress on Coach was the original (well maybe not the original,
    but certainly the one I remember best) Dorian Lord.  The actress
    currently playing Dorian Lord is someone different, suggested to OLTL
    by the previous, because of her uncanny resemblance.

    I called on the re-schedule of the Walt Willey show, it is going
    to be on Aug 10.  Nicks will buy the tickets back if someone can't
    make it.  I would appreciate anyone letting me know if they have
    tickets and they can't make it.  A girlfriend of mine is nuts over

    For those of you who care, (I know most of you don't like her!),
    Sheila (from GH) and her mop were on Quantum Leap last night.  I'm not 
    positive it was her, because I've only seen her a few times, but the hair 
    really stuck out.  She played a prostitute in a "Cathouse".

He was a strange one in that movie.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but we rented "Sleeping
    with the Enemy" last nite and the woman who plays Myra Sloan on AMC
    was Julia Roberts' mother in the movie.

    Watched 20/20's tribute to Harry Reasoner last nite, and they showed
    his earlier shows.  He was in one with the woman who now plays Ruth on
    AMC (Mary Frickett??).  It was a show similar to Good Morning
    America where Harry and "Ruth" were cohosts.  She was quite young and
    attractive.

    I saw that clip earlier in the week on the CBS news.  I THOUGHT it was
    Ruthie, but wasn't sure.  I figured someone would mention it here if it
    was her.  I wasn't aware of her background.  Boy, she must have REALLY
    bombed in that show - if she switched to soaps!
    

    I saw Sharla the other night.  Actually I was making dinner and heard
    her voice so I had to run in and check.  I think it was Sunday night on

    I really don't know if this counts but here goes. My squeeze was in
    Californ i a and was out on the town after a party that was major black
    tie affair etc. he was with some people who owned this really exclusive
    resturant/bar/club and they went there after this party. The owner-dude
    opened up the kitchen for them and they were at the most exclusive
    table and they ,in general were being totally catered to (red carpet
    treatment ) Well guess who was at the next table looking at my friends
    like WHO are you to get such special treatment .... Scotty from GH!!!
    
    I like that story because can't you just see him looking over at those
    people with on eof those "SCOTTY" looks on his face like "what about

    I plunked myself down in front of the tube at 9 last night, switched the 
    channel to FOX 25 (Boston), and saw the opening credits for Beverly
    Hills 90210.  As they were listing "Guest Appearances" I nearly came
    off the couch...
    
    Our main man from GH was guest starring... Paul Satterfield !
    
    I was psyched to watch the show 'cuz' it was advertised as "all new -
    Summer."  Well, that was a BIG FAT LIE ---> but I didn't mind the
    repeat because (1) I hadn't seen it before, and (2) It featured Paul.
    
    Paul played a sykdiving instructor named Don.  Brenda and Kelly won
    free lessons thru a radio station promotion.  Kelly was all gun ho, 
    and Brenda was a wreck because she's petrified of heights.
    
    Anyway, Paul looked much the same ---> except that his hair wasn't
    glued into place.  It was quite a bit longer in the front, and I was
    surprised to realize how much natural curl it has to it.  
    
    During one scene he had on a pair of [[[ K I L L E R ]]] black Levi
    501s!!!!!!!!!!   WOW!!!!!!!  What a FINE form this guy has!!  Those
    suits they slap him into on GH don't do him justice.  The scene was
    filmed with him in these pick-my-tongue-up-off-the-floor jeans,
    standing on a stage, and the camera was below him - and a slight
    distance away.  Basically, he looked larger than life and extremely
    HOT!!!!!!!!!  
    
    I had to share this with you guys...  Anyone else see it???

    know lots of pepole on the cast tell him he looks like their old Colton
    Shore, but I think his resemblance to (ex) Dawn Winthrope is uncanny.

    Saw this in TV Guide - Tonight at 8pm E.T. on the Family Channel,
    they're running an old Elvis Presley movie called Change Of Habit.
    This is the one where he plays a doctor who gets involved with three
    nuns who move into a ghetto neighborhood to do good deeds or some such.
    
    It's a pretty schloky movie but the nuns are played by Mary Tyler
    Moore, Barbara McNair, and.......drum roll........Jane Elliot our
    beloved Tracy Quartermaine.

    today at the Williamstown Theater in "Defying Gravity" an
    impressionistic view of the Challenger tragedy.  The play runs through

    For those of you outside of New England, the Williamstown Theater is a
    famous Summer Theater in the Berkshire "Mountains", near the New York
    and Vermont borders.  It has long been used by famous and no-so-famous
    actors to hone their craft.

    I was watching Lifetime TV yesterday and happened to catch a movie
    called "Swimsuits" that starred Nia Peebles, some others, and our
    very own FRISCO JONES (ex-GH --> Now Warren Lockridge on Santa
    Barbara).
    
    He played a guy named Hart ??? (never did catch the last name) who 
    was very - very - wealthy.  
    
    The movie was about these two talent search guys (one of whom was
    played by the ex-Greatest American Hero --> the blonde curly-haired
    guy) who were looking for models for a swimsuit contract.  
    
    Hart (Jack) falls for one of the models whose name in the movie was
    Rosie (don't know her real life name).  She's only 19 and we never
    found out how old he was - just that he was considerably older.  He
    buys her such extravagant gifts as Channel Suits, jewels, etc.  Oh,
    and with each outfit he gets her, he includes matching shoes, handbag,
    and other accessories.
    
    Seems he's a little domineering tho - and orders for her at
    restaurants, tells her what to wear, etc.
    
    He proposes to her - and smacks a big ole diamond (that was his grand-
    mothers) on her hand.  She thinks she's all happy with this, but he
    wants her to give up her work and she can't do it.  She tells him she
    still has too much living to do, and at 19 she's not quite ready for
    marriage.
    
    Jack looked good.  His hair was under control - basically short, but a
    little big longer in the back.
    
    I have to tell you, too, that I just about cringed everytime he kissed
    this girl - because those are Felicia's LIPS!!  :-)
    
    That's it!  
    
    Anyone else catch this film?  It was cutesy... but pretty good!

    Yesterday on Regis and Kathie Lee they had a back to school fashion
    show with celebrity models.  One of them was the actor who plays
    Brian Bodine.

    
    I caught a show named Sister Kate yesterday and was both startled and
    excited to see Jason Priestly (Brandon - Beverly Hills 90210) playing
    a kid named Todd.
    
    It was funny because in the show he was trying to get this girl named
    BRENDA to go out on a date with him.  This struck me as so cute since
    his sister on 90210 is named BRENDA.
    
    I know this isn't a soap... but since everyone raved about how much
    they like 90210 - I thought it was worth posting.
    
    If you couldn't tell... I had a fun day of watching TUBE yestereday :-)

    We rented the movie "Sleeping With the Enemy" last weekend and guess
    who was in it?  Myra from AMC!!  She played Julia Roberts character's
    mother, Chloe Williams.  She was in a wheelchair, and blind from a
    stroke.  
    
    She was in something else I saw recently too.  She sure does get a lot
    of roles in movies.  Can think of what the name of the other movie was

with Sean Penn.  He and someone else had escaped from a prison on the U.S.
Canadian border.  She was an old woman that picked them up in a beat up old
truck.  The two convicts (Penn and the other guy) posed as priests to keep 
from getting caught.  Maybe that will jog someone's memory.

    Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery/AMC) was on Lifetime TV's 
    Attitudes yesterday morning.
    
    He said that he did several bit parts on AMC and other soaps
    over the past 10 years.  On AMC he was there when Donna and
    Chuck were snowbound, when she got pregnant.  Many other times
    that I can't remember.  Anyway, he said that after some time
    elapsed, they said they could bring him back as a full-time
    character without the fans remembering his previous appearances.
    
    Linda Dano, the host, also asked him what makes him want to do
    stand up comedy.  He said it was a way of dealing with the fact
    that when he was growing up, in southern Illinois, that he reached
    his current height at about 14, and also was a stutterer.  Walt
    said that with a name like WaWaWaWalt WiWiWiWilly (imitating his
    stutter way back then) and his geeky height, kids made fun of him.
    He said "Hell, I woulda made fun of me, too!".  So comedy and
    expressing himself through art (drawing/sculpture) became an outlet.
    
    He was FAR LESS OBNOXIOUS than he was on some other talk show where
    he was referring to women in a less than respectable tone.

    Oprah is having a reunion of soap couples today. One couple was a real
    life couple Gab (oltl) and Father Tony (oltl).  She was also going to
    have actress/actors who have left soaps...Andrea Evans (ex-tina, oltl).

    Frankie from DOOL was on Baywatch yesterday....also Eric Kane from AMC
    had a small part as a father again.  Took me awhile to figure out
    where I had seen him before.

    Also, last week I saw a movie on cable about crazy twin guys and guess
    who played the twins......well if you guessed Jeremy from AMC you were
    right.  He played a very convincing villan.  I'm so used to him being
    a romantic and mahatma-ish that I was impressed at how well he could
    be evil and wicked.

    The guy who used to play Jesse on AMC was on that new show "Reasonable 
    Doubt" on Friday night.  He played this disturbed guy who has to be on
    medication to keep him stable.  Course, he couldn't get his medication
    one night and flipped out, and killed someone.  Anyway, he did a great

    was strange, and didn't believe it was true at first!! I wasn't
    watching, only listening from the other room, so I kept on the look 
    out for the commercial to ome on again, and it REALLY was her!!
    
    She begins by sitting at a table & writing a letter to "Dave" Wendy's
    father. She tells him that she went to some other fast food joint & 
    tried their burgers & now she's learned her lesson. Nobody makes

    I can't believe I forgot to tell you all this! Paige Turco (ex-Lanie on
    AMC) was on Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous last weekend! She lives (i
    guess) on a caribbean island (forget which). They showed her  out
    dancing in a night club, and hanging around on the beach, boating,
    partying, and a lot of STUPID seductive (supposedly seductive, I sould
    say) photo shoots! She thought she was the cats meow!!
    
    Dave came home while I was watching & I was just sitting there saying,
    "*OH* my god! Phulease....give me a break!" He sez, "Oh GEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
    ZE!! WHO IS THAT DOG?!" I told him, & he sez, "OH ya the one who
    married David, the one you all say was a nervous collie?...See! I told
    you she was a dog!" We laughed!! 
    
    She really did look TOTALLY stupid! She was wearing a different bathing
    suit in every shot. Some of them were OK, but most were totally
    SKIMPY, or just plain UGLY!

    Well would you believe Myra and Billy Clyde on Law and Order last
    night.  She played an old lady walking her dog who witnesses a murder.
    And Billy Clyde played the look out in the murder.  He was a crazy
    homeless person living in a box.  I think he was born for these parts.

    Watched Pros & Cons last night (James Earl Jones & Richard Crenna). 
    Artie Johnson (Finian on GH) was one of the guest stars.  He was much
    more serious than his usual "funny man" personna.  BTW: his hair was
    more grey than on GH where it in whiter.....looked like they had added
    a rinse to it for last night's show.

    Well, Michael Brainard (sp) (ex Sloey, AMC) has landed on Santa Barbara
    as Ted Capwell.  We should start a "Where Are They Now" note???

    The former Jeff Hartman (Loving), the most recent one who married
    Trisha in Italy, had a small part at the end of the move "Late For 
    Dinner".  He looks the same except in the move he had a slightly
    different hairstyle; generally short hair with a long pony tail
    starting at the base of the neck.  There wasn't enough of his role
    to tell how he'll be as a movie actor (to tell the truth there
    wasn't enough of the movie to call it a movie) but he was okay.
    
    This movie is a slow start, then ends just and you're getting into it.
    There is potential for some sub-plots and things to happen that never
    happen.  It ended and I turned to my friend and said "that's it,
    where's the rest of it."

    I was watching the Danielle Steel Movie Palamino last night and the

    This morning on A&E I was watching 'Behind the Scences' and it was on
    the movie "The Taking of Beverly Hills" with Ken Wahl. Well one of the
    scenes they showed had Mort from Knots playing of all things a cop!!!!
    This I gotta see. I don't know how big his part is though.

    This past weekend I was vegging in front of the tv and happened
    to catch part of a movie called "Intimate Agony".  I'm sure you
    can probably guess what it was about.
    
    Anyway, Tony Geary (from GH) and Judith Light (formerly Karen on OLTL),
    as well as Mark Harmon and Robert Vaughn, were alli in this movie.
    It was set up the way so many of those disaster movies are set up.
    Some wealthy person has a hefty investment in some project and <> 
    (enter your favorite disaster) happens and everyone has to deal with 
    it.  The heavy investor, of course, tries to keep it a secret from 
    everyone and play it down so he won't be out the money when people
    don't want to live in/use/or whatever this project.  The funniest 
    thing was that the disaster in this movie was an STD (sexually 
    transmitted disease).  Okay, so STDs aren't funny but the way the
    movie was presented was.  Of course, when this movie came out this
    STD was running rampant and they were trying to educate the public 
    as well as make a movie.  
    
    Tony Geary plays the doctor who keeps meeting resistance while 
    trying to educate everyone and hold a self-help clinic.  Judith Light
    was a patient who spent alot of time helping Tony Geary.  Mark Harmon
    was a tennis pro/ladies man who catches the disease.  Robert Vaughn
    was the wealthy business person who developed some island into a 
    country club kind of place.  He was the big bad guy in trying to stop
    Tony Geary's character from telling anyone about the STD which was
    becoming epidemic on the island.

    Saturday evening there was a show on about G.H. I missed parts of it,
    but here it goes. The talked to Gloria, nothing impressive here.
    (surprise) Lucy and Scott were on together, they seem to really like
    each other. They talked about Scott's hair. It looked REALLY bad that
    day. Lucy said his nickname is "golden arches". When you look at it,
    it does look like McDonalds arches. They were filming the scenes, from
    when Bill was arrested and Sly played kick ball. Mac was on, he seems
    like really NICE guy. Julia said, she was having a hard time with all
    the changes, how quickly they happen. Connor seems to enjoy his part. 
    Bill was not impressive either, I think he thinks he much more of an
    ACTOR, then he really is.

    The former Emily Ann from AMC had a small role on Quantum Leap
    on Wednesday night.  She played the fiance of the guy that raped
    the character Sam leaped into.  She didn't have to do too much.
    Wasn't too taxing on her acting abilities.  That particular episode
    of Quantum Leap was very good though.

    I was watching Life Goes On last night.  Dorothy Lyman (ex-Opal, AMC,
    ex-Gwen, Another World, ex-Naomi on Mama's Family) was on as the mother
    of Becca's friend who is HIV positive.  She was excellent and it looks
    like a recurring role for her since the boy (Chad Lowe)'s story will be
    told throughout the next season.  I was especially touch by her telling
    the parents at the school meeting about her son.

    For anyone interested, it was an excellent show.  Dorothy Lyman was
    very good.  I had to look at her closely a couple of times to be 
    sure I wasn't imagining it was her.  At the end of the show the girl
    who plays Becca and the guy who played Jessie (Chad Lowe) said that
    this story line would be continuing for a while.  This show was so
    intense, I was glued to the set for the major portion of it.

    	I thought that was her!  I don't watch Life Goes On that often
    	but I was so moved by that episode that I may try and watch
    	it on a regular basis.  I *think* it's the first TV series to
    	make the AIDS storyline a continuing one.  Most that I've seen
    	(ex: 21 Jump Street) have done one episode and didn't continue
    	it.  
    
    	I cried for this one.  Rob Lowe better watch out for his little
    	brother!

    She is a good actress but seemed strange in this role.

    I saw a commercial yesterday for new walking Reebok sneakers. The
    person in the ad selling the sneakers is none other than Melanie from
    AMC. The announcer was going on in scientific detail about how the
    sneakers work while they show Melanie speed walking through a park. She
    finally stops and says "Hold it. The cushioning here (points to bottom
    of sneaker) helps tighten the cushioning here (pats behind)." It was
    kinda cute in a sickening way, you know, kinda like Melanie....

    Kin Shriner (Scott, GH) has a part in the movie "Deadly Medicine" with
    Veronica Hamel and Susan Ruttan.  He plays the father of one of the
    babies who dies.  SPW says that he has a couple of touching scenes.

    Yes, Erica was on Regis and Cathie Lee yesterday. She talked about her
    movie and then they had Helmut, her husband, come out and join them and
    they talked about how they met. Then R & CL had some behind the scenes
    stuff from their scene on AMC.
    
    Also, yesterday on Oprah were soap stars trying to play matchmaker for
    their soap star friends. First was James Kiebard (Trevor) trying to fix
    up Patrick ?? (Will) from AMC. This was great and hilarious!!!! They
    are both funny men. Next was Robin Mattson (Heather on GH, now from
    Santa Barbara) fixing up Kin Shriner (Scotty, GH). She just had pick
    out some girl for him, I think she was also from SB. Then there were
    two black girls that play sisters on The Young and The Restless. I
    wasn't really watching at this point. And lastly was Dorian (OLTL)
    fixing up Cassie. I also missed this one.

    Here's a little more on the Oprah show.  I thought I was so good.
    
    James Kiebed(AMC) and his wife Susan Keith (loving) fixed Patrick
    Stuart up by just interviewing on the streets of Chicago.  James gave
    each woman the "Dillion Doll Diagnostic" questionnaire.  At the very
    beginning, they show him (as filmed by Susan) approaching different
    woman on the street and show them pictures asking them, would you date
    this guy.  Some said no.  Some were old, one was a horse (really!).  It
    was hysterical.  Then by their answers, he had the three finalists come
    on the Oprah show.  Each had a "date" with Patrick right on the show. 
    Patrick and James knocked on a door and each came out separately and
    given a bouquet of flowers.  Then champagne at "Oprah's get to know
    you" pub and dance floor.  Then they were taken home and Patrick read a
    sonnet to them to see their reaction.  The women were all different
    types, the first kind of ordinary, the second kind of a "Demi Moore
    look" with short hair and a long dropped waist flowered dress.  The
    third had long blond hair with a mini leather skirt on.  Then James had
    to pick the date for Patrick.  Patrick kept wispering in his ear so he
    know who he wanted.  James picked number 3 who was a drama major at a
    nearby college for Patrick.
    
    Then it was Kin Shriner's turn.  And boy, he was a nervous wreck. His
    legs kept shaking up and down, like one does when they are nervous.
    Robin Mattson fixed him up with Melissa Hayden who used to play Mouse
    on GH.  She now has very long hair and is very pretty.  She's on the
    Guiding Light now.   Robin picked her because Kin doesn't go for glamor
    types and she thought they would be perfect for each other.  Kin is
    also very shy and really didn't respond to Melissa that much.  He is
    very different from his Scott character.
    
    The two black women were from the Young and the Restless where they
    play sisters, Olivia and Drucilla.  I don't remember which one was
    which but one fixed the other up with the guy who play Oprah's son on
    Brewster Place.  Very nice looking guy and what a speaking voice.
    
    Elaine Princi and Laura Borrigno (sp) from OLTL were good too.  Elaine
    fixed Laura (Cassie) up with their  stage manager from the show. 
    Elaine thought they had a lot in common because they are both Italian,
    both from close knit families, both love horses.
    
    Then, Oprah fixed her friend, a real estate agent up with a guy she saw
    while flipping through the channels at home last week. (or the week
    before the show was taped.)  The guy is a local sportcaster who just
    started with the station and Oprah called him up and asked for a
    meeting.  The guy agreed to meet with her the Thursday before the show
    and agreed to come on.  When he came on, he told Oprah that he had
    thought she was a nice lady when he met her and that Oprah had
    exquisite taste in woman.  Then,  the woman, whose name I can't
    pronounce or spell, said that Oprah had exquisite taste in men.
    
    They also showed a scene of the people who where on the soaps after
    each one was introduced.  Melissa, who used to play Mouse on GH's scene
    was a seduction scene, lying in bed waiting for the guy to come home. 
    When he did, she was lying in his bed and tried to persuade him to join
    her.  Very different from the Mouse character, to say the least!!!

    Half listening to the radio this morning I heard that someone from
    Fresh Prince, Andrea Evans OLTL, and somebody from Night Court would
    be appearing at Valco Mall in Cupertino, CA this Saturday (11/16)
    beginning at 12:00 noon.  Apparently there is a new store opening on
    the top level of Valco and this is somehow related to the opening.

    For those in the Boston area, tonight at 7pm on FOX 25, Current Affair
    is having a segment on Larkin Malloy (ex-Travis, AMC).  All I saw was
    him hanging out a window waving around a sword and bleeding, then the
    voice over said something like, first he's hanging out a window, next
    he's in court, on tomorrows Current Affair.

    Last night AMC's Arlene Vaughn (Hayley's mom) was on Quantum Leap.
    She played the part of a southern woman from the 50's who is married to 
    a real jerk, and attracted to her jerky husbands brother (Sam). I
    taped the show, but ended up falling asleep during the last 20 mins, so
    I won't know how it ended yil I watch the tape.
    
    It was funny seeing Arlene use a sothern accent.

    She is much smaller in person and let me tell ya, those eyes are
    so blue, they are practically hypnotic!  There was a ton of people
    at the store opening and Andrea managed to get through it all!!!!!

    calling her Tina!!!  She had to tell some of them that her name
    was really --> Andrea!!!!!  (^%  She wouldn't say if she was going
    to ever be back on OL again --> but, as usual, you could tell by
    the glint in her eye, that it wasn't exactly impossible!!!!!!!!!

    Thel -->  It was really bizarre.  The first thing we see is Larkin
    straddling a window.  He's about 4 stories up.  He appears to be
    ranting about something, then you see him swinging a sword about and
    there are people on the ground talking in italian saying that they
    heard him say he's going to jump.  Then they had a rescue net down
    below.  Some how they talked him into coming down the fire truck
    ladder.  They were saying that he had a lot to drink through out the
    day and that may account for his behavior.
    
    Larkin sent a letter to Current Affair saying that it was all a miss
    understanding and that the matter had been dropped.  But the italian
    authoritites told Current Affair that it was a serious matter and that
    they were going to get Larkin back from the US and he would go to court
    and probably spend up to three months in jail.  According to Current
    Affair that sounded really great to the Italian film makers who have
    Larkin under contract to do a movie.  They said that three months would
    give him plenty of time to learn his lines.

    on during the same weekend I had schedule to have my Holiday

	Last night I was watching "Drexels Class" (what a dumb show but
	I was sewing and couldn't be bothered to change the channel).

	The little girl who plays Tony Jones daughter was on for a few
	seconds, sitting on Santa's lap.  She had one line.  I was
	thinking.... gee isn't that strange when next I see Chief Lewis!
	He played a guy who mans one of those booths where you throw the
	ball and a person (Santa in this case) falls in the water.  He 
	was only on for a few seconds.  Two GH'ers in one show!

    night's episode of Cheers.
    

    A few weeks ago Macauley Culkin was the host of Saturday Night Live and
    they did several skits that included other kids.  One of those other
    kids was the little boy that plays JJ on Loving.  Can't think of his
    name.  He was pretty good.  But he is too aware of the camera on him
    and gives that silly grin.  Mac is great though, a natural!

    I heard on the local news (San Jose, California) that South Bay 
    Casting is now auditioning for a new soap opera.  They're hiring
    for a new night time soap that will be called "Sincerely Yours" 
    which will be broadcast on some cable access stations.  The soap
    is set in a town called Silicon City and will be filmed right
    here in Los Gatos, CA.
    
    According to a spokesperson from South Bay Casting, they're looking
    for actors/actresses that are natural and that can be themselves.

    Yours" already. Seems the casting director is being unscrupulous and

    thingy, I'm not sure of the exact name for it. There's a woman on it
    with him and they're saying how they need the massage thingy for all
    their crankiness or something like that.

    The "late Nancy Eckert" appeared with Jacquilene Smith in "In the Arms
    of a Murderer" last night.  Poor Nancy ended up dead again.  This time
    she was a hooker into blackmail...........again everyone kept
    commenting on her beautiful hair.  The biggest difference in this
    appearance was her dress.....no suits!  This time she was into blue,
    low cut sequin gowns and micro-mini black leather skirts, with mhigh
    black boots.......she does have a body that doesn't quit!!!!!

    Wade from AMC was on P.S. I love you.  Sorry, don't know all the
    names of the characters but, he played a guy from Connie Selleca's
    past who was threatening to tell the mob where to find her if she
    exposed him and his entry in the Physical Fitness Pageant's plot
    to win by taping a bedroom scene and blackmailing the guy the filmed
    (I assume he must have been a judge).  Wade's character was killed
    by a woman with Multiple Personality Disorder who had killed one of
    the contestants and had taken her place in the pageant.  It was an 
    interesting show and the plot was a bit complicated to get into in 
    depth here.

    I was flipping through the channels on New Years Day and ran across an
    old Simon and Simon episode.  Guess who was on there???  Charlie on GH
    played a very young girl infatuated with Rick Simon, Gerald MacRaney's
    character.  Sound familiar.  Definately a role she's good at.

    Had to get in hear for a minute cause I'm in shock.  I just saw
    the guy who plays Cain Rogan (aka Hudson and Heinrich) on a Vidal
    Sassoon Air Spray commercial.  I had to look a couple of times to
    be sure.  He's using some kind of British or European accent but
    I know it is him.  Hair cut is the same and I'm sure that is the
    same face.  Or, as Megan would say.  There's no mistaking those
    eyes.

    I didn't know where else to put this and this seemed like a good place.
    Last night I was watching my favorite show - Full House - (I just love
    those kids!!).  Anyway, they came to a scene where Jessie (John Stamos)
    ran into some guy in the grocery store and the guy was talking about
    being a "househusband" and watching his favorite soap "General
    Hospital".  The reason it was so funny is because John Stamos used to
    play Blackie on GH.

    In Full House, Kin Shriner played the Police man on the show when Jesse
    was going to get married.  They are suppose to be very good friends.
    
    Also while watching to tape we made of Sunday's Diagnosis for Murder,
    Bob and I kept chuckling every time they showed to front of the
    Hospital.....its name was "Community General Hospital", kept waiting
    for that abulance to come driving by.

    My boss just told me that he heard on the radio that Trevor Dillon
    (James Kiberd) from AMC will be at the Eastridge Mall in San Jose, CA 
    this weekend.  He said that Trevor said to bring any weird ties that 
    you might have.  Too bad I have to be in Watsonville all weekend at a 
    cat show.

    out that I am not mistakenly bringing in unexposed rolls of film to be
    developed, my camera just likes taking pictures of white cows in

    I was watching Joan Rivers show yesterday (that is the station the TV was
    on when I turned it on), and while in the kitchen making coffee, I
    heard a familar voice.  It was the kid that plays Timmy on AMC, the
    show was about child protag�s (sp?) !!

    Although the Colombo that was on last night was listed as a repeat, I
    hadn't seen it.  It was really good, Ian Buccanan was great as the Hugh
    Hefner type.

    have to ask around for a description.  Anyway, Jackie's idea for a 
    tie with all our names on it would be TOTALLY COOL.  I think I'll do
    some tie shopping and find something Trevorish.  
    
    I just bought a camera with a zoom lense so that oughta help out with
    the picture taking.  There are alot of ramps in that mall so alot of 
    people might be standing on those to see better also.  I wonder if that
    many people like Trevor.  What was the one in Santa Cruz for???  Who

    Just wanted to say that that sounds like a great plan.  I believe
    the meeting place will be Frederick's then.  I'm about 5'5", average
    build, dark brown hair(shoulder length) and I look about 19 even though
    I'm 23. (At least this is what people tell me.) I will also have my 
    camera. I can't believe we're all gonna finally meet.
    
    BTW, my sister was going to come with me but, she's got something to 
    do with signing the baby up for Gymboree Class.  But, she might make 
    it there in time anyway.

    James Kiberd (Trevor) was wonderful.  He is so much fun.  I had a 
    great time watching him and listening to him answer questions.
    Does anyone want to hear any of the things he told us plot-wise or
    do you all want to be surprised?
    
    DC and I arrived at the mall a few minutes later than planned and
    posted ourselves outside of Frederick's.  We waited for a while and
    when no one showed up we decided to go around the corner to the food
    faire and eat.  We arrived at 11:15 and people were already staking
    out the few chairs the mall had set up for Trevor's appearance.  He
    wasn't due to arrive until 1:00.
    
    While we were eating lunch, a beautiful woman walked up to us and 
    asked DC if he was in fact DC.  Turned out this woman was none other
    than Julie Vogelsang.  She joined us for a while and when we were
    finished with lunch we headed downstairs to the Sees candy store to
    purchase some chocolate covered cherries.  Unfortunately, all the
    Sees stores in town are having a severe chocolate covered cherry 
    shortage and we had to settle for some rasberry creams.
    
    By the time we got to the area where Trevor would be, all the chairs
    had been claimed and we had to grab a spot on floor to the left of
    the stage, but very near to the front.  We had a great view of the
    stage as long as we stood up so we could see over the baby stollers
    in front of us.  We started out with tons of room but by the time 
    James Kiberd arrived we were packed like sardines.
    
    When he arrived at the mall he was dressed in one of Trevor's outfits.
    Maroon pants and tie, blue jacket and green shirt.  You guys would
    remember this if you saw it.  People were tossing ties at him.  He
    does a wonderful thing with the ties.  If you put your name and address
    on the tie, he has his picture taken in the tie and sends you a copy.
    Some ties do get selected for the show.  Also, if you send him $15
    and a stamped, self-addressed envelope, he'll send you (correct me
    if I'm wrong DC) an autographed tie.  The money he collects for the
    ties goes to UNICEF.
    
    After questions and answers, James took a break.  When he came back
    he was dressed in black pants and a red shirt.  He looked so good!
    He is not as heavy looking in these clothes as he looked in Trevor's
    clothes.  Julie must have agreed cause she went back after our hug
    to see if she could get a picture of him...from the back.
    
    The poor guy must've been exhausted when he left.  He stood there for
    hours and hugged each and every one of us (or shook hands with the men)
    that were in line.  There were hundreds of people in line.  It took
    us over an hour to get up to the stage for a hug and there were tons
    of people behind us.  In fact, they were running out of pictures to 
    hand each person when we finally made it up.  Luckily, they still had
    enough for us.

    Here's the Trevor report from Eastridge Mall on the East side of the 
    Silicon Valley!!!
    
    Trevor appeared on the stage wearing those baggy maroon pants, navy
    baggy jacket, green striped shirt and another wild tie, that was far
    from a match to his shirt!  He looked [EXACTLY] like his character!!!!!
    
    Women were screaming!  Camera's were popping!  Babies were crying!!!
    
    Several older women had made a group of signs that said things like -->
    'FRISK ME, TREVOR, FRISK ME," "LET ME BE YOUR DOLL," "I'LL MARRY YOU!"  
    
    When he got onto the stage, there had to be over 800 people crowded
    all around him!  He took a mike and started talking --> suddenly, there
    was a total but colorful blackout --> ties rained onto the stage and 
    down from the second and third balcony!  Trevor loved it --> he picked
    up some of the ties and wore them on the stage!  There were too many
    for him to put them all around his neck --> but he promised that he 
    would try to wear them on the show --> then he signs them and sends 
    them out to people who ask for one --> if they make a $15 donation to 
    UNICEF!
    
    He's not as heavy as he looks on TV!  Sure he could lose maybe 10-15
    lbs., but that would be more than enough!  He's is about 5' 11", but
    I'm sure his Bio sez --> he is probably at least 6' 1"!!!!!
    
    Julie, Jan and I were sitting on the floor munching on Mrs. See's 
    raspberry cremes, since they were still out of the chocolate covered
    cherries!  Trevor saw us eating something and demanded to know what
    it was!  We held up the bag and he motioned Julie to come to the 
    stage!  She did and he helped himself to my raspberry cremes and 
    he managed to give Julie a hug in the process!  About 500 women
    nearly swooned in the process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    
    Some lady brought a cellular phone with her girlfriend on the other
    end, in Salt Lake City --> Trevor talked to her and he said --> "this
    s the strangest thing that has ever happened to me in one of these
    shows," he added --> "this must be CALIFORN I A!!!"  Everyone laughed!
    
    We spotted a very large woman, maybe 275 lbs., maybe 5' 10", with
    stringy, long blond hair, wearing stretch stirrup pants and a red,
    low-cut halter top!  This doll had a large tattoo on her right bosom!
    
    You guessed it --> she stuffed a tie down into her bosom and when she
    got on the stage later to greet Trevor --> she wanted him to pull it
    out of her bosom with his teeth!  HE DID, TOO!  Then about 500 people
    screamed in horror!  They were probably afraid this doll's low-cut,
    red halter top was gonna come off with the tie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (^%
    
    Thank God he didn't kiss her undulating tattoo!
    
    He did about a 90 minute question and answer show and here's some of
    the highlights -->
    
    He wears his sideburns in a point because he was out of the country for
    25 years and when he got back, he got addicted to STAR TREK!  He wears
    those sideburns like that because he is a --> "TREKKIE!"
    
    He's an artist and loves to paint and draw!
    
    The actress who plays his sister Arlene, will be back on the show in 
    about 4 months.  
    
    Janet hasn't lost the baby!
    
    Kelly Ripa (Halo) is really 21 years old!  He said that she came off of
    a vegetable truck in New Jersey!  He added, if you want to get into 
    acting --> start now and work anywhere you can, to get experience!!!
    
    People asked about Natalie and her possibly getting an Emmy this year.  
    His response was honest and pretty frank!  He said --> "you have to get
    nominated by your fellow actors on your show... in Kate's case, I don't
    think that will ever happen!"  He really said that!  I swear it!!!!!!
    
    Angelique will be showing up soon!  I think Hefty Helga went to get
    her in Vienna!
    
    When he was asked about the award show the other night, he said --> 
    "NBC has a very LARGE PR department, and they get out the big bucks to 
    promote their shows!  ABC, and especially AMC, have very small PR 
    departments.  That's why you hardly ever see any of the AMC people up 
    there!"  He then added --> "but, AMC is the most taped show in America!"
    
    He said that every letter, one of us send in --> "is like the producers
    getting mail from 20,000 people!"  He added --> "the producers really,
    really listen to your mail!"
    
    I asked him what he did with the XXX-RATED tape of Marissa and what
    did Adam do with the XXX-RATED tape of Natalie!  He smirked and said 
    that --> "me and Adam Chandler go into the Mansion's video room and 
    watch those tapes every night!!!!!!!!"  
    
    He said Tad is doing another movie in Europe --> he added that it is
    really "low-budget!"   He couldn't say if he would be back or not!
    
    He said that Larkin Malloy will be showing up on LOVING soon!  Everyone
    gagged!!!!!
    
    He said that Will is --> "very picky about women!"  Trevor doesn't 
    think Will --> "will ever find the right one!"
    
    As soon as I get the film developed I can send anyone who wants them,
    some photos!  We were right in front, so we have lots of great shots!!!
    
    There's a lot more --> but I can't remember it right now!
    
    Trevor took a break and came back wearing a pair of black dress pants
    and a red silk, long-sleeve shirt!  Jan was barely able to handle it!
    
    She kept saying --> 'HE LOOKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!"
    
    We got into the reception line and awaited our turn to greet Trevor
    and get the whole thing on film!  Jan was the first one to go up from
    our group!  He put his arms around her, like she was his one and only
    doll!  He squeezed her to him and I could see Jan's eyes roll into the 
    back of her head!  She was about to swoon!  Trevor sensing something
    was up --> held Jan up, as he had her sip some of his Arrowhead Crystal
    Springs Mountain Water!  Luckily, Jan came around quickly!  I have the
    whole scene on film!  Including her very red cheeks!!!!!!  (^%  It may
    have been a trick to get Trevor to hug her a second time!!!!  He did!
    
    Julie, not wanting to faint in front of 800 people, was a little more
    cautious than Jan!  She slowly walked up to Trevor!  He put his arms
    out, like he was greeting someone he had known all of his life!!!!!!!!!  
    
    He said something like --> "c'mon over here doll!"  He grinned from ear 
    to ear!  Julie walked even more slowly, since I had to take her photo
    with Trevor, first with her camera, then with mine!  We didn't want to 
    miss the moment!  Well, grab this --> Trevor put his arms around Julie
    and lifted her up into the air!  The audience gasped with delight!!!!
    Then he snuggled his nose into her soft, warm neck!  The audience went
    wild and and so did Julie!
    
    Julie turned every shade of red you can imagine, and I have it all on 
    film!  Later, Julie and Jan were comparing notes on how they felt when 
    Trevor had hugged and squeezed them!  They both agreed that his hug was 
    the best hug --> they had ever had!
    
    I don't know about all of this swooning stuff --> both Julie and Jan had
    fortified themselves with extra applications of lipstick, lipgloss and
    they must have looked in their compacts at least 20 times, for any 
    visible traces of nose shine!  Since they were so perfectly groomed,
    it was just a matter of time before Trevor called them both --> "DOLL!"  
    (^%  Jan and Julie were so well-dressed and well-groomed, that if Trevor
    didn't call them DOLL --> about every other guy at the show would have!
    
    It was a great afternoon --> I have to hand it to Trevor, he was a real
    sport!  First, he did the Q+A for 90 minutes, then he came back and 
    personally greeted, hugged and kissed over 800 people, one at a time!!!
    
    Julie, Jan and I then went to the imported coffee shop to get some
    cafe au lait and cappucino!  Jan got us all some of those Mrs. Fields
    semi-sweet cookies to munch on --> that's where we all decided that 
    Trevor is really a GREAT guy!

    and could not get to Eastridge... what a disappointment!  I was a
    grouch the entire weekend! At least I knew you all would have something
    to sooth me today!

    The former Travis will be showing up on Loving as the new Clay Alden.
    
    Trevor and Natalie will not be together for a while but may get back
    together later.
    
    Brian and Haley will be together for a while although there may be a 
    few rough spots for them here and there (like Will, for example).
    
    The bulk of the audience wanted Janet to lose the baby.  They also want
    Trevor back with Natalie.
    
    Dixie will probably never wise up.
    
    Someone asked if Tom will ever get a wife.  James responded that Tom 
    needed to get a life.
    
    James never came right out and said anything nasty about Kate Collins
    but he did confirm that she was very unhappy when she found out she 
    would be paired with him.  He also mentioned that there was some award
    that she would probably never get because you have to be voted on to
    receive it by your castmates.
    
    You probably already know this but most of the nicknames he uses on the
    show were created by him.  He and the writers consult together to write
    his lines for the show.
    
    He got called in on his first day of work there and was offered a
    contract.  He loves working on AMC.
    
    Here's a biggie.  If AMC brings Tad back, it most likely will not be
    Michael E. Knight.  James says Michael wants to be a movie star.  He
    is working hard for this.  He has one movie coming out and I think he
    said there may be another one in the works.
    
    When asked when Arleen will get out of jail he said she got 15 years
    so in soap time she ought to be out soon.
    
    He's such a sweatheart.  They asked him why he didn't have his wife
    with him and he said she is always with him.  He carries her in his
    heart.
    
    When they tested females for his love interest (now I forgot if this
    was on Loving or AMC...he used to be on Loving).  He told them he liked
    all of them but one.  The one was the woman who plays Shana, he married
    her later.  Apparently, he'll never live this one down.

    At one point James was asked why he wears his sideburns like that.
    I quietly said because of Star Trek.  Well, he decided that the first
    one who guessed it would get kissed by him.  I couldn't get my mouth
    to work fast enough.  Some woman to the left of me shouted Star Trek
    and she got to go up and kiss him.  Boy did he plant one on her.  I'd
    have died of embarrassment.  I get so nervous I probably wouldn't be
    able to muster up the tiniest of kisses.  But, I'd try real hard if
    the opportunity ever knocks on my door again.

    get something for Halo to call him!  He showed us his thigh and

    I asked her about the "trevor" remark... she thinks they dated
    in real life, did they?
    
    Kate is living with someone in real life, and his family isn't too
    happy with the arrangement, so when she was on some talk show
    and was asked if she was involved she said NO.
    
    She is really nice in person.

    Oh, that brings something else to mind.  Someone asked if Kate

    said he didn't think so.  He did mention that they were very

    I'm counting on DC and Julie for duplicates myself.  My camera wasn't
    working.  I felt like that commercial where the older ladies are at

    I know that Julie used up all the film she had left in her camera
    and DC was taking pictures too so between the two of them there

    Lar Park Lincoln (formerly Linda on Knots Landing) and John James
    (formerly Jeff Colby on Dynasty and the Colbys) were both on a 
    new show called "Hearts Are Wild".  She played the daughter of the
    casino manager who was getting married to John James' character.
    He was a womanizer and was marrying Lar's character for the money.  
    They ended up not getting married by the end of the show.  The casino 
    owner (star of the show and family friend to the manager of the casino) 
    set John James' character up to prove he was a lousy guy because he
    seemed to be the only one who could see through him.  They had a female 
    casino worker get him interested and when they went up to her apartment
    John James' character practically raped her.  Needless to say they
    had security grab him.
    
    Lar's character was such a sweet person.  Quite a change for her from
    what we've seen on Knots Landing.  I think the bad characters are
    better for her.  More meaty lines to work with.  Of course, it was
    pretty strange to see John play a bad guy.  Everything I've seen him
    in before he was the leading man and was always a nice guy.

    -raq :  You aren't seeing things, she is on a Pamper's commercial and
    also appears on a Simply JIF commercial.  She moved back to NYC because
    that is where her husband's photography business is, I forget his name,
    but he is a popular high fashion photographer.  That is the only reason
    she left GH, it was her decision......commuting was too hard after she
    had the baby.

    
    I was watching Star Trek IV : The Voyage home, and I think I spotted
    Jake from OLTL playing a police officer in the hospital where Chekov
    was being treated.   His hair was shorter, but I think it was him...

    Did I miss something or am I the only one that never realized
    that the current Maggie on Northern Exposure was once on General
    Hospital?  The only character I can come up with that she played
    was Laura (the double, not the original).  Remember, when Demi
    Moore played Jackie Templeton, Laura was her sister and was mistaken
    several times for the missing Laura of Luke and Laura fame.  Am
    I mistaken.  Is this who she played.  She is a brunette now and
    that Laura was a blonde.  Someone give me the scoop quick.  This
    is driving me nuts.

    Jan, you are not mistaken.  Janine Turner did play Laura Templeton,
    Jackie's (Demi Moore) sister.  Remember Luke used to stand on the docks
    in the fog and dream of Laura while the song "Laura" by Christopher
    Cross played in the background!!!!  Then he saw the back of Laura T's
    head and thought is was Laura S.  Both Demi and Janine had very long
    hair back then, with Janine a blond.  Look at them both now!!!

    A couple of nights ago while flipping channels something caught my eye.
    It was a movie on Disney called "Purple People Eater" and the yound
    male star was Doogie Howser. What a difference 4 years makes (the
    movie was made in 1988). Anyways he got a band together of other kids
    and the female drummer was played by the girl now playing An Li on
    AMC. At least it looked just like her.

    Another channel flipper here to report that I saw a younger (with 
    really dark hair and a moustache) William Devane (Knots Landing)
    on an old Alfred Hitchcock movey last night.  I think it was called
    Family Plot but I wouldn't swear by it.  Let me tell ya folks, he
    looks much better with the salt and pepper hair.

    I watched my tape of CIVIL WARS over the weekend (normally can't keep
    awake to watch it on Wednesdays).  One of the "to be divorced wives"
    was the actress who played Cecilia Quartermaine (can't remember her
    real name).  She is as pretty as ever but has cut her hair to just
    below her ears, looks super on her.

    I was watching an the family channel this weekend and Beach Blanket
    Bingo was on with Annette and Fankie.  I was surprised to see Linda
    Evans (Chrystal from Dynasty) and Michael Nader(Dimitri).  They both
    looked very young.  Chrystal was really pretty, but I do think that
    Michael has aged wonderfully.

    to Dana of China Beach?) was on as Jimmy Smits g-friend/wife on the TV
    movie The Broken Cord.  Good movie.  She had her hair cut real short

    Doctor Steve Hardy made a guest appearance on Fresh Price last night
    (I'm not into skiing so flipped it on instead of the Olympics).  Milton
    Berle was the guest star but I think Dr. Steve stole the show, I've
    never seen him do comedy...he is always so serious on GH, but he was
    quite funny in a dream sequence.  By the way he was in character, but a
    wild version of himself.

    caught it. I too thought he stole the show. He had the most evil

    Teresea Blake (Gloria AMC) was on the Jenny Jones show yesterday. They
    did a piece on vixens! Also appearing were Dorian (OLTL) and an English
    lady from Days of our Lives (?) Teresea was very soft spoken and in the
    beginning had to dragged into the conversation while the other two just
    kept jumping in! She really enjoys playing Gloria and has no trouble
    leaving the character at the end of the day, she said Gloria gets
    washed off with the make-up. Jenny asked her if she'd like Gloria to
    become a 'good girl' and Teresea said, "Oh no! And become Dixie's
    twin...never!!!! She indicated that in the next couple of weeks the 
    Craig/Dixie/Gloria storyline would being going through a MAJOR twist. I
    wonder if this means a new Tad will be making an appearance?!?!? A
    member of the audience asked her who would end up with Craig, Gloria or
    Dixie and in her Gloria voice, Teresea said "Oh sweetheart, I will"
    
    She looked very nice albeit alot like Gloria! She had on a mustard
    colored oversized sweater over black leggings and black suede boots.

    What was the name of the sleazy lawyer on Loving that Ava used to use
    for her divorces, and for following people?  I can't remember.  Anyway,
    he was on Civil Wars last night, playing an attorney again.  Only this
    time he was sleazy but under the guise of being on the up and up.  His
    clients were a rich married couple whose son was about to marry a
    jewish girl.  They had him hire Sidney to draw up a prenuptual
    agreement, and keep adding more and more clauses to it until the girl
    got upset and walked out on the son.  That was their intention all
    along.

    Rogers (Scorpio-GH) on it. He has really long hair in it, and it makes
    him look younger.
    

    Anne Jeffreys was on LA LAW Thursday night, as usual she looked great,
    played a former movie star who's money is running out.  I still miss
    her as Amanda Barrington on GH.....maybe Wendy Riche will bring her
    back.

    I just saw a rerun of Cheers (when Diane was still on the show), and I
    am pretty sure it was Dixie who played Coach's niece who was there to
    attend B.U.  Did anyone else see her on it?

    I have a couple of appearances for over the weekend.  Liz Vassey (ex
    Emily-Ann Sago) was on an episode of Walter and Emily Sat. night.
    Actually, she was pretty good and not as obnoxious as the EA character. 
    
    Also, I've seen the woman who used to play Mimi in OLTL twice in
    commericials.  One was for the Boston Globe and the other for a laundry
    detergent.

    The man who played Fred Eckert (was it Fred?  Angela's husband) on GH
    was on Murphy Brown last night, and IMO he was the hit of the show!
    Murphy was being questioned by a senate subcommittee, and this actor
    portrayed Senator Kennedy!  He wasn't actually named Kennedy on the
    show, but it was very obvious who he was supposed to represent, and
    he did a hilarious job!

    Liz Vassey (ex-Emily Ann Tuggle Sago Martin) is really making a name of
    herself in LA these days.  She not only was on STtNG and Walter and
    Emily, she will also be on Jake and the Fatman on Wednesday night
    playing a singer.  She actually gets to sing 7 songs.  Also, (Steph!!),
    she will be on Beverly Hill 90210 (I think on March 19, I'll check)
    playing someone's girlfriend (I'll check that too!!).  
    
    From all indications, Michael Brainard (ex-Joey Martin) is excellent on
    Santa Barbara.  I have read this too.  So, I guess it's safe to
    conclude that the Emily Ann and Joey parts were not written to show
    these two's true talents!!!

    The former Charlie Brent from AMC was on LA Law last night.  He played
    one of two brothers whose father was listed as missing in action in
    Vietnam.  Their mother had died and her will left money to the sons to
    try and find their father.  The character that the ex Charlie played
    was fighting the will, he wanted to let his father be declared dead. 
    His older brother wanted to go to vietnam with the money and look for
    his father.    Ex Charlie (what is his name anyway) did a wonderful job
    with the role!  He was really good.

    For all you Billy Tuggle fans, Matthew Clewe (sp?) was a guest star on
    Law & Order last night.  He played his usual wierd person.  Funny, I
    never realized he was tall and rather lean....as Billy he must have
    slouched down.  Got to admit he is a really good actor, plays those
    type of parts so well.

    The blonde lady that was with David Canary (Adam) at the Soap awards was 
    his daughter, not his wife. 
    
    Just an FYI~

    Besides Billy Clyde Tuggle on Law & Order last night, our beloved 
    Myra Sloan was also on.  She was a witness and identified good ol'
    BC in a lineup.  It was kind of funny seeing two characters from AMC 
    on the same show.

    I forgot to tell you guys that I saw John J. York (that's Mac's real
    name isn't it (GH)) on 21 Jump Street the other night.  He played a
    physical therapist who assaults disabled students.  He attacked and
    raped one woman who was in a wheelchair and she ended up in a coma.
    Then he attacked the disabled copy they put in for a decoy.
    
    It was really strange to see him playing a bad guy role.  Not only
    that but it was strange to hear him talk without the accent I've
    grown so used to.

    played Marco Dane on OLTL played Ken Wahl's brother on this show.
    He was a priest.  Very hard to see him as that character.  All I

    was one of the "50 Most Beautiful People" in People magazine.  It said
    she was in the movie "Wayne's World", she played a karate-kicking/
    heavy-metal singer.

    The only other soap star on the list, was a guy on Days of our Lives,
    who spends a lot of time on his motorcycle (both on & off screen).

    I apologize if someone has already mentioned this but it just dawned
    on me...
    
    The kid who plays Sly on GH is on a Honda commercial.  He has 3 lines
    that he says in response to his dad's explanations of how/why he bought
    a new car.  Mom's gonna be mad.  Mom's gonna be mad.  Mom's gonna be 
    REAL mad (this last line is said as a truckload of Honda's pull up in 
    front of the house).

    This is the first chance I've had to get in here in quite a while.  
    I saw Walt Willy Sat. June 6th At Daytons in Burnsville, Mn.  I was
    only about 3 ft away from him.  I had a clear view of him.  He talked
    for a little while and answered questions.  He also shock hands and
    gave away presigned photos.  He was even more gorgeous in person!  He
    also likes tall redheads.  I didn't realize he is Irish.  He was really 
    funny and very nice even though he had a slight cold.

    I watched the first part of Scruples last night (for about the 5th
    time).  Anna Lee (Lila, GH) played Aunt Willimena early in the movie.
    If I remember correctly we never see the lady again.  
    
    I can't remember what year the movie was originally shown, but I have
    to say Anna Lee was much younger looking than now.  She appeared in a
    wheelchair, but I think at the time she was still walking with a cane
    on GH.  
    
    Again I was stuck at how beautiful this lady was (and still is) while
    watching.

    I tuned in to a show called Grapevine last night.  It has guest
    characters who interact with the main characters (2 guys, one girl). 
    Anyway, Liz Vassey (ex-Emily Ann, AMC) was one of the guests and the
    whole show pretty much revolved around her character's romance with a
    friend of one of the three.  The show was a little strange (very new
    concept)  All the characters (main and guest) narrate and the show is
    done in flashbacks.  Ya, I know, you thought of the Wonder Years and
    The Waltons, but the difference here is that we see these characters
    telling their story.
    
    I'll give it one more shot.

    I forgot to mention about seeing Shell Kepler (Amy, GH) on Home
    Shopping Club Friday evening with her Lacy Afternoon collection.  Her
    clothes are gorgeous.  She has a very limited line since she designs
    every piece herself.  Then she sends them off to the manufacturer who
    hand sews all the beads.  So, what she does is comes out with a few
    pieces per season.  The other night, she showed two dusters, about
    knee length, two pant sets, two skirt sets and two blazers.  All were
    the same except different colors, coral and light blue.  Very elegant
    and not gawdy at all.  In fact, people kept calling about the denim
    jacket she was supposed to show but couldn't get in time for the show. 
    So, she is making a special trip back this week when it is ready.
    
    People were calling who didn't even get the channel I was watching
    (they have three networks) and saying, I just ordered sight unseen
    because I have other pieces in your collection and I just know these
    will be gorgeous.  Someone even commented to her that she saw a Shell
    creation in a boutique in California selling for $400.  Shell says that
    she sells exclusively to Home Shopping Club customers, so that all she
    can think of is that the boutique must have bought it from the HSC and
    then resold it.  Her pieces run (on the show)  $59 for the blazer, and
    $64.50 for either the pant set or the skirt set, and about $64 for the
    duster.
    
    Shell is very personable.  When people buy her clothing, she encourages
    them to write to her and send a picture in what they bought, as well a
    suggestions for color and style.  She also sends back a letter with an
    autographed picture.  She actually brought a stack of letters with her
    to the show.  Because of the letters she has received with suggestions,
    in the fall, her clothes will also be available in women's sizes too,
    2X and 3X.  Also, she is coming out with the color black for the
    holidays (X-Mas).  
    
    Someone called in and said that she was glad Shell now has a boyfriend
    on the show (GH).  Shell commented that it is now harder to work on her
    fashions and get to the Home Shopping Club fashion meetings because she
    is now investing more time on GH.  But she says that she feels great
    finally having a boyfriend on the show.
    
    I also wanted to mention how much I enjoyed Jack's Place last night. 
    Finola is quite a dancer.  This show is kind of growing on me.  I hope
    they take it on in the fall.

    I made a point of watching Jack's Place last night and I have to
    say it was a really good show.  Of course, I mainly watched for
    Finola's dancing but there were a couple of other interesting parts
    to the show.  Finola is an incredible dancer.  I'm totally envious
    of her ability.  I've been trying to figure out how to do some of 
    those moves for ages (specifically the roger rabbit move) and I'm
    no closer than when I started.  Of course, one must keep in mind that
    I am far from a professional dancer...but I give it my best shot.  
    
    Micky Rooney and Caesar Romero (I know I butchered that name) had a 
    pretty funny story going too.

    Although she has never said, there are a few reasons that could come
    into play here.
    
    1) there are very few movies made now-a-days that involve music and
       dancing.  most of the ones that have been made bomb at the box
       office
    
    2) the average dancer last about 10 years professionally before feet
       and ankles give out.  the pressure aplied to the feet and ankles is
       tremendous (those swollen and bruised feet shown last night were
       real)  arches are usually the first to go especially in ballet
    
    3) she could have wanted to concentrate on acting rather than dance,
       more exposure to the public

    Lots of apearances to report.
    
    Saw Sarah from OLTL on a commercial for a home pregnancy test.
    
    Saw Dominique from GH in a Geo commercial.  She's standing by
    a blue one.  Can't remember what her lines are.
    
    And, last but certainly not least,
    
    I saw Michael E. Knight (Tad from AMC) in a movie called "Date
    With an Angel".  It was a pretty hokey movie but I enjoyed it
    anyway and Michael was as good-looking as ever.

    the movie "Commando" with Arnold Schwartenegger (sp??) and who did I
    see in one of the very first scenes (for all of about 2 min.)  But

    Anne Jeffreys (Amanda Barington, GH) has joined the celebrities who
    sell products on Home Shopping Club.  She will be on selling antique
    jewelery on Friday, July 17 at 5:00 and Sat. July 18 at 2:00.  I know
    you don't have cable, but on regular TV with UHF channels, it's Channel
    66 here in MA, if you are interested.  Shell must have been an "in" for
    her!!!

    I've been meaning to put this info her for days now.  It doesn't
    involve ABC, but I thought some folks might be interested.  The cast of
    SB will be filming in Boston this Sunday.  Kim Zimmer and the guy would
    use to be on DOOL (great looking with a Greek name, sorry I can't spell
    it) will be interviewed on People Are Talking.  Those were the only
    names mentioned in the newspaper article, so I have no idea if Jack
    Wagner, John (?) Fontaine, or any other major cast member will also be
    in town.  Sorry, Steph, they didn't say just where they would be
    filming but maybe you'll catch a glimse of them as you tool around your
    neighborhood.

    Did anyone catch Lanie on a commercial for "Lactoid".  It's that stuff
    for people who have problems digesting dairy products.  She looks
    awful, I barely recognized her.  She has her hair pulled back and she's
    wearing a suit, nothing at all what a young girl her age would wear. 
    She is eating at a buffet commenting to the attendant that he is out of
    cheesecake!!  You see, by taking Lactoid (or whatever it's called) she
    can eat all the dairy products she wants.

    I've been watching the Gatoraide commercials during the Olympics and I
    swear the football player they show taking a drink of the stuff is the
    same actor playing Jaggar on GH.  Anyone else notice.  It is a
    semi-side view, he doesn't say anything, just brings the bottle up to
    his mouth and takes a drink.

    He had the 5 o'clock shadow on that show too.  He also use to be on

    the new macy's store at the new mall of america here in minneapolis

    Paul Satterfield (paul - GH) was on this HBO(??) movie last night.  It was
    truly a pathetic effort. It was called Arena and was about some
    futuristic gladiator type thing.  However, for those who drool over
    him, he appears quite often (I only caught the last 1/2 hour or so),
    shirtless and in the semi-buff.

    Ann -->>  I saw on the news here in Chicago how big that Mall of
    America is.  It is unbelievable what is even in that Mall.  I sure
    wish I could make a trip out there to go in this Mall.
    
    I mean how many theatres does it have......14?!?!?!??!!?  The rides
    look like a blast too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I could spend days in

    I entered this note last night but got thrown out.  So, here it is
    again.  
    
    Since the weather was so awful this weekend, I did a lot of napping and
    TV watching.  I saw lots of soap stars on different shows.  Walt Willey
    (Jackson, AMC) was hosting the Supermodel of the World contest. I
    caught Antonio Sabato's (Jagger, GH) dancing in the Janet Jackson video
    (hot!!).  There was an old "Family" running too with Season Hubley
    (Angelique, AMC) playing Selena Magee.  Boy, did she look young with a
    very chunky face and a shag haircut!!  Jane Elliot (Tracy, GH) looked
    young too in the movie "Change of Habit" with Elvis Presley and Mary
    Tyler Moore.  Then I was flipping through the channels and saw the guy
    who plays Ric Ortega on GH on The New Adam 12.  I think he has a
    starring role on that one.
    
    So, yes, I was a couch potato this weekend.

    think she was an FAB? agent for a while, then quit that and was a
    lawyer.  She had the hots for Beau (or is it Bo?) and went off the 
    deep end when he didn't return her love.
    
    I believe the guy is the current D.A. on OLTL.  Hank Gannon or
    something like that.

    Did anyone watch the new show on FOX, _The Heights_?  I caught 
    most of it and I am more than positive our gone, but not forgotten
    Dottie is in it.  She has one of those smiles that you just can't
    forget.....shows all of her big teeth....The show itself wasn't too
    bad, and the character she is playing just found out she is pregnant.
    
    And for any of you Day Of Our Live EX-fans %^}....Charlotte
    Somebodyorother, who played EVE, is also on the show.  She is
    apparently a rich kid trying to make something of herself in this band.
    
    Oh, and BTW, the male characters in this here program, ain't too

    upcoming previews for THE HEIGHTS, maybe it was the AMC note.  It is
    Dottie Thornton (I think her real name is Tasia, cheryl, help me out
    here)  I will probably continue watching, it looks like a show that

    Saw the woman who plays Nikki (GH) on an episode of 21 Jump Street.
    It wan't a big roll but she was a high school kid trying to seduce
    a very religious kid who had been brought up to believe that he was
    chosen to do God's work because he had been declared dead and had
    been revived.  It was a good story and even though it was a small 
    roll she was very good in it.

    I saw James Kiberd (Trevor-AMC) and Susan Keith (Sahna- Loving) at the
    Cape Cod Playhouse Monday night in a play called Double Double. They
    were fantastic. After the show, they came out to sign autographs and
    let fans have their pictures taken with them. I got to meet both of
    them. James invited me and my Dad to the opening night celebration
    party. He had gotten my letter telling him we were going to be there so
    he had a place reserved for us. Of course I had my picture taken with
    him and I also wrangled a few hugs out of him. I got a picture of Susan
    with my Dad. Dad is slightly handicapped because of a stroke 16 years
    ago. Some people don't have patience with him, but both James and Susan
    talked to him and made him feel welcomed there. They are super people.
    I also met Ruth Warrick (Phoebe- AMC) who was there to see the play,
    and I got her autograph. It was quite a night.

    Dr. Lazarz who was on AMC (for those of you who don't watch).
    
    He played a real small part, but it was the voice I could

    I didn't watch the show, I saw his picture in this weeks tv guide where
    all the new shows for the fall are listed.  He's the same Charlie that
    was in high school with the dirty blond hair, he also played on a
    couple of episodes of HOMEFRONT, if I get a chance to watch the show

    Did anyone watch the movie last night that Nicolette Sheridan (Paige,
    Knots Landing) was in??? I was thoroughly lost, but that's beside the
    point?? Where did I know the cop (Toby) that she was living with at the
    beginning from??? My first reaction was that it was Eric from Head of
    the Class, you know the one in the leather jacket that liked Simone??
    But then I convinced myself that it wasn't, but I know I've seen him
    somewhere before. Can anyone help??

    Has anyone seen Diggstown?  I saw it last night and the guy who played
    Jason on Knots Landing also played Robbie, the son of the guy who owned 
    Diggstown.  He was pretty good.
    
    Also, I managed to catch about 1/2 hour of a real oldie that Stuart
    Damon (Alan, GH) was in.  It was called "The Legend of Champions" and
    it was pretty low-budget.  Of course, I think it was made back in the
    mid to late 60's when special effects were pretty lame.  Stuart Damon
    was some kind of special agent.  He was pretty good even if the
    dialogue and effects were bogus.

    You are probably going to laugh because, he is also from Knots
    Landing!!  He plays Alex, the guy who is giving Claudia so much grief. 
    It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but when he and Nicollete

    I watched some of the Mary Tyler Moore marathon (Mary-thon) on
    Nickelodeon last week.  And the episode from one of the last seasons,
    Mary is fed up with dating "losers" and ends up dating Mr. Grant.
    
    Well....... the "loser date" they start the show off with was none
    other than SEAN DONNELY from GH! (Don't remember his real name.)  But
    the premise was Mary had him in her apt., and they were both chatting
    away.  She went into the kitchen for a minute, and he starts taking his
    clothes off thinking that's what's next, and she throws him out.  I
    recognized his voice, but could barely recognize him!  A must see for
    any of you Sean Donnely fans!!

    I saw the movie "Somebody's Daughter" and I also was trying to figure
    out where I'd seen "Toby" from.  In the movie his eyes seemed much
    bluer than on Knots.  The movie was pretty lame and didn't make much
    sense but IMHO I thought Nicolette did a wonderful acting job.  It was
    kind of nice to see her playing the part of someone not so well off.  I
    can't wait for Knots to start!

    Marcia Cross (??????, was going to marry Cord, when Tina showed up with
    CJ, OLTL)  was on Melrose Place last night.  She played a doctor, I
    think it may be a reoccuring role.....

    Anthony Sabato (Jagger, GH) will be appearing at the San Jose
    Convention Center on August 28th and 29th.  He'll be at the 
    wedding faire they're holding there.  
    
    He will be signing autographs and having pictures taken.
    
    10 lucky people will get to meet him.  Channel 11 here in San
    Jose has a contest where you can send a postcard in (postmarked
    by 8/26) and possibly be one of the 10 people they choose to
    meeting him.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a pen when they posted

    Just a few tidbits from the Soap Opera Festival at Great America.
    
    Wally Kurth (Ned Ashton, GH) is dating Rena Souffer(sp?) (Lois, GH)
    in real life.  He's been legally separated from his wife for about
    1 year.  The stuff is supposed to hit the fan with his 2 marriages
    very soon.
    
    Walt Willy (Jackson Montgomery, AMC) recently bought a ranch in 
    Santa Fe, NM and is raising horses.  He's really unhappy at the
    direction they've taken Jack in on the show and claims to have 
    taken the parts off a gelded horse and put them in a jar.  He says
    he strolled into the writers and put the jar down in front of them
    and said "You've taken them off Jack, now you keep them".  He's 
    asked them to do something with the character quick.  He says that
    Trevor will end up with Laurel and that they'll probably bring 
    someone new in for Jack.  Oh, and Dimitri and Erica will end up 
    together.
    
    Wortham Krimmer (Andrew Carpenter, OLTL)  Wortham is his wife's
    maiden name.  I'm sorry but I've forgotten his real name.  He says
    there'll probably be a triangle story with him, Cassie and Marty 
    soon.  He wouldn't tell us the outcome.
    
    John J. York (Mac Scorpio, GH) says not to hold your breach about
    Tristan Rogers coming back.  Chances are Jack Wagner will be back
    before Tristan.  I believe they're talking to Jack about returning.
    Also, Fecilia (can't think of her real name) is pregnant again so
    they'll be writing it into the show.  There's a dilema in how to
    tell Mac since they've just decided to change their relationship.
    There'll be some question as to the child's parentage too (remember
    she slept with Frisco before he left).

    Anthony Sabato Jr. (formerly on GH) is going to be in a new movie
    called "Earth 2" about a space ship that crash lands on a planet
    that is similar to earth.  He plays a pilot (I believe) who ends
    up helping the crew leader as they attempt to build a colony on 
    the new planet.
    
    Not sure when this movie is due to be released.

    Turns out "Earth 2" is a new series.  It premiered last night.
    It wasn't too bad.  Sabato's party was relatively small in the
    premier.  It looks like they have a good cast of characters (the
    woman who played Linda in "Homefront" is the Dr. in this series).
    The writing could use some improvement and once the characters
    are fleshed out a bit it could be a fairly decent show.

    I saw the actress who used to play Megan on One Life to Live on
    a Seinfeld episode last night.  She was playing a woman that
    George??? (I forgot the character's name) was interested in.
    
    She had this great apartment with a velvet couch (which he loved)
    but she had a male roommate that sort of resembled him.  He was
    having a real problem with this figuring that the guy was already
    living there and had a better chance with her than he did.  
    
    I missed the end of it but apparently the guy moves out (which
    I'm sure pleases George) but as it turns out, all the cool furniture
    was his, including the velvet couch.

    Morgan Fairchild was on Rosie O'Donnell's talk show today.  They
    chatted a bit about her character on the show and how she's returning
    to TV after something like a 20 year absence (can it really be that
    long).  She also talked abit about how she got into playing all those
    great strong women (read: b*tchy) characters.

    Kelly Ripa (Haley) and Mark Consuelos (Mateo) were here in Salem, NH 
    last Sunday at the Mall and I just had to go, she is adorable and so 
    talkative and friendly,and he is even more handsome than on TV.
    
    Its nothing I had even done before but was glad that I went, got 
    autographs and took some pictures.
    
    Everyone was telling her to can Brian and she said its so funny,
    because 4 years ago they were telling her that Brian was the one.
    
    I am really glad the writers didn't ruin the storyline with Matt and 
    also that they didn't drag it out.
