    I'm looking at buying either the Vector Research VCD 400 or the
    Technics SLP-230 CD player. I don't have all the details about each
    machine (I'm getting the CD player through a distributor), but it
    appears that the major difference is in the oversampling (2X for
    Vector Research, 4X for Technics), and the prices (Vector Research
    is about $50.00 less). Both have digital filtering, 20-track random
    programming, remote, etc.
    
    Any thoughts/experiences with either ?
