Could someone in the New England area please tell me what
I could expect to pay for a 6 disk magazine for the JVC
6+1 player. Since my CD library has expended rapidly, I
am finding myself spending a fortune on them. They run
about $60 Canadian here in Calgary, so I like to know if
I can get a better deal next time I am in the States.
I am also not particular about who's name is on the box.
I know that the Toshiba and Technics magazine is
compatible. I would also be interested in knowing if
there are any other brands which I am not familiar with.
Thanks,
Ed

If it is compatible with the Pioneer cartridge, which holds 6
discs, they are available everywhere for US $15.

I was told by several reputable stereo stores that the six disc
cartridges are all compatible.
I've seen them on sale for $9.99 at high volume stores. I know
you can order them in quantity from mail order houses of $10 or
less (depending on what else, if anything, you order).

They are not all the same...There are two basic types. The first
pulls out the CD on a holder, the second rotates out from one corner.
They are not interchangable.
