I was recently given a tape of some *searingly* hot African Pop
music from Senegal and am wondering if any readers of this
conference have seen this guy on CD. The name is:
MORY KANTE
The album is:
AKWABA BEACH
I've looked without luck at Tower in Boston... Have any of the
international readers of this conference come across this album, or
anything else by Mory Kante, on CD?

Akawba Beach is available on CD - I bought it here in France about four
months ago. Can't remember what label it's on though - probably
Barclay.
