I just recently returned from the west coast visiting family over the holidays and was quite surprised to see the amount/selection of CD3's that I found in just about every record store... I have seen some CD3's in the stores around my area here in New England but no real selection or variety of artists... Does anyone know where, if anyplace, in New England I can find a store with a selction of CD3's?? I also was taken to a CD store where you could listen w/headphones to CD's before you bought them... Does anyone know of a place like this??? And while I'm on the topic... What do you think about CD3's??? I think they're are a good idea, my player can hold them without an adaptor so the appeal is a little stronger. I also like the idea of not having to shell out as many $$ if I like a particular song and don't want to buy a whole new disc... It's kinda like 45's to LP's but somehwat better. Craig

"Untouchable Sound" in Shrewsbury has a decent selection of CD3s and also lets you try out discs. Steve | |||||

Tower Records at Mass. ave and Newbury st. have a decent collection. They are frequently out of some, but the dividers are there, so I suppose they intend to restock them. They've also got a pretty good selection of oldie cd3's. |
