While listening to National Public Radio I heard a selection of piano music between news items. The announcer said the selection was by Peter Nathier (spelling) on a Nebula CD. The portion I heard was very good. Does anyone know anything about Peter Nathier, know the title of any CD's on Nebula Thanks, Bill

There was a story on "Morning Edition" today about some pianist (I don't remember the name) whose new recording of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #2, and possibly some other pieces, was just released on CD. The reviewer said he gives a very expressive interpretation, even taking liberties with the tempo of sections of the piece. In general, the reviewer seemed to really like the performance and the recording. |
