1458.0. "Katrina and the Waves" by HAZEL::STARR (Like a fool, fell in love with you...) Tue Jan 03 1989 11:44

Has anyone seen the first LP by Katrina and the Waves on CD? I thought
I had seen it a few years ago, but have been unable to locate it since.
If anyone has one for sale, or knows where I can find a copy, please let
me know.....

Thanks,
Alan Starr

Only on Japanese import, unfortunately. BCD used to have it (maybe
still does), but the last time I checked, they were charging some-
thing like $26 for it. I don't like it *that* much.

I did see the CD in one of the record stores in the Phesant Lane
Mall in Nashua. I wanted to buy it, but not for $17. What is the
title of it anyway? I thought they only had 1 album?

Actually, they either have two or four, depending on how you want
to count it. Their first two were Canadian-only (that I know of)
releases: WALKING ON SUNSHINE and SHOCK HORROR. Their first world-
wide release, KATRINA AND THE WAVES was a compilation of these
first two albums. There was a second world-wide release entitled
just WAVES. This last is the only US-release CD.
