I don't have the disc but I heard several songs on the radio the week
it came out. Imagine Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and friends as vocalists
in a band with late-ELO style production. If that sounds good to you,
then you'll want the disc. I'll probably get it eventually, but it's
not on the top of my most-wanted list at the moment.

It's available at Noteworthy for $10.74 as of last week.

1374.3I think it's pretty good!HPSTEK::WOODTue Nov 08 1988 10:4411
I picked it up last night and was quite impressed with it. It has
a "down-home' kind of feeling and as far as I'm concerned, George
Harrison and Roy Orbison never have sounded any better. As for
the production, there doesn't seem to be such the ELO influence that
was so prevalent in Harrison's "Cloud Nine" LP (due to Jeff Lynne's
production). The latest issue of "Rolling Stone" rates the album
four stars (meaning "excellent") and has nothing but good things
    to say about it.

I have the disk and I think it is one of the better releases of
the year. I still need to get Keith Richard's disk yet to make
a final judgement. Anyway...I liked Bob's numbers very much and
I wish the radio stations would play more of those cuts. Roy is
Roy...he always was and always will be great. George does a better
job on this production than any of his solo's. It is an *up* disk,
one that makes you feel pretty good.

I heard on the radio a few minutes ago that Roy Orbison died last
night of a massive heart attack at age 52.
    RIP Roy you'll be missed.
