I am also interested in christmas pipe organ music, I once
had an album recorded at the Hamond Castle pipe organ which was
excellent. I wonder if they have that on cd?

1362.2 | Virgil Fox? | PARITY::GOSSELIN | Ken @DTN 247-2498 | Thu Nov 03 1988 12:14 | 12 |
| I believe I've seen an offering for Christmas music on pipe organ,
by Virgil Fox, no less. Did see it, just don't know where....if
I come across it again, I'll post.
The selection for Christmas music has really opened up this year
- I'll bet you'll find what you're looking for (as opposed to U2)
by the end of the month.

1362.3 | I think Lechmere's has one available | FENNEL::LOUIE | | Mon Nov 07 1988 10:28 | 8 |
| I saw one cd at Lechmere's at the Pheasant Lane Mall. I believe
it was entitled something like Christmas Music on Pipe put out by
TELARC. I think it costs approx. $10.99
This year Lechmere expanded their Christmas selection and there
is a wide range of records to choose from. Check it out!

| If the disc at Lechmere's is a Telarc, I find it interesting
that Lechmere's can sell it at $10.99 while the place in
Detroit a few notes over is losing money on them at that
price. They must be subsidizing it with something else :-)

1362.5 | Lechmere's has lots, but not what I seek... | FGVAXX::LAING | Soft-Core-Cuddler*Jim Laing*261-2194 | Tue Nov 08 1988 12:42 | 8 |
| I was at Lechmere's, Nashua, NH last night. The TELARC disc is
"Pipes of Christmas", played my Lyn Larsen. It's "theatre" pipe
organ, not classical. I'm still in search of classical (i.e.
traditional Xmas music) played on pipe organ on CD ... Lechmere
had a MUCH larger selection of Xmas music this year, but most of
the classical/traditional stuff was by orchestra and/or choir.
