    I got a copy of Hank Ballard and the Balladeers
    on the Charly label...  I played it and it had the 
    most obnoxious metallic whine in some places...
    The whine isn't real loud, but it's _there_, sort
    of like an overly sibilant "S."   Is this the
    "harshness" I've sometimes heard of with CD's?
    
    I've hundreds of other CDs and never heard this
    whine before...
    
    Anybody else have this problem?

	ooops... that is, of course, Hank Ballard and the Midnighters...
