I save the boxes that my mail order CDs come in. I think there is a special postage class for "recordings". Safe? The Post Office safe? That's what insurance is for. I have never had a mail order CD damaged by the post office. In the jewel box and a proper package they are very sturdy.

I have received MO CDs with cracked jewel boxes. The CDs played fine, but I had to replace the box. I like to put them in the MO container and that in those padded envelopes that the Post Office sells. Regards, Jim

If your DEC location has a VAX 78x still in use, they get the distribution on 8" floppies. I used one of the boxes with baby bubble wrap to send a CD. Ask you system Mgr. Jeff |
