Hi,
looking for some help from our North American counterparts.
I have a Sony D-100, called a D-10 over that way I believe. Well I'm
trying to find out if you can get hold of just a North american power
supply for it. The one I have drops 240V to 9V which is not a lot of
use over there.

All of the Sony portables I've seen here in the US (a D-5, a D-7
a D-3, a DT-3, and the new 3" one that the disk hangs out the side
of) all use the _same_ 110VAC->9Vdc converter. There are three
of them at my place right now. (sorry, all are in use :-) )
They're not hard to come by (I believe Lechmere here in Framingham
keeps a stock of spares). The cords tend to break after a while.
If not Lechmere's, then Radio Shack has the proper adapter. Probably
for $20 or less.
