I make tapes of my CD's to play at work and in my car. But I have
terrible handwriting, so I put together a little postscript file
that will format cassette liners for me.
Anyone that wants a copy can get an example file from:
ATSE::USER3:[DBMILLER.PS]LINER.PS
Print this out on an LPS40 (Read the file 1st, a /SETUP is required)
If you like what it does, you should be able to figure out how to
edit it to make your own. Using stiff paper makes the best liners.
Comments and enhancements are welcome. Though I don't have much time
to work on it.

To the moderator: I wasn't sure if this belonged here, but it seemed
like something a lot of the CD owners here could use. You can delete
this note if you feel that is does not belong here.

I've got a program off of the usenet (newsgroup: comp.source.unix) which will build a postscript file to create a liner. This file can contain the dolby symbol, album titles, artest, and songs. That's the good news. The bad news is that this program appears to need a bit of work and I know next to nothing about the workings of postscript. If anybody has any interest in this source send me mail. | |||||
| 1185.2 | .1 edited so that we could see the right side | BTO::EDSON_D | Mon May 09 1988 04:24 | 20 | |
I've edited .1 so that we could read the right margin.
